Been coming here for 15 yrs straight, since undergrad! Amazing every time. Highly recommend the kimchi tofu soup, galbi tang, bi bim bop, bossam, gal bi, soba cold noodles. They have probably the best banchan. Thank you to all the staff and kitchen, this place is a true Oakland gem.
Great food and incredible service. Hunter and his team worked fast and efficiently during a big dinner rush. Food was on point and atmosphere was great. Hunter checked on us constantly and poured a perfect Asahi. Go for dinner and request him!
The seafood pancake here is a must try crispy, flavorful, and easily one of the best I’ve had so many others end up soggy in comparison. If it weren’t such a drive, I’d be back every week just for that. I also love that they serve crispy rice with the soft tofu soup, it adds the perfect crunch and soaks up the broth beautifully.
Good Korean food. One of the few places I've been to that serves kong guk su, so that was a welcome surprise for a sunny day. Fairly quick service. Does suffer a bit from the bay area price inflation though, so wasn't the cheapest meal. Overall, not bad for the occasional large group lunch.
We ordered tofu soup and seafood pancake. The restaurant serves free small cold appetizers that are commonly served in Korean restaurants. These appetizers are good. I wish they have fish cakes hahaha. The pancake is the best I ever had. It’s so crispy.
