I didn’t have to wait at all, and they were very kind to my dog during the vaccination process. They even had peanut butter, which helped a lot. The technician clearly loves animals, and my dog didn’t seem to be in pain after the vaccine like he has been during vaccines in the past
My perspective on Queen Village Animal Hospital is unique: I have been a loyal client for years and also a long-time member of their staff. While my commitment to this practice is clear, the reason behind it is simply the unmatched quality of care provided here. The veterinarians at Queen Village are defined by their compassion, skilled expertise, and genuine love for animals. Not to mention that they are just really good people outside of the hospital too. How many people can say they truly love the people they work for? I can. My pets have benefited from their exceptional treatment across every stage of life. The doctors here have gone above and beyond- they have prolonged my pets’ lives, dramatically improved their quality of life, and, in critical moments, saved them. Though I have experience with many excellent ERs and specialty practices, I can confidently say the dedicated, meticulous treatment offered by the Queen Village doctors is unparalleled. For me, they are nothing short of true veterinary superheroes. If your pets are your family, this is where you need to bring them.
If I could give no stars to this veterinary clinic in PHILADELPHIA on BAINBRIDGE STREET, I most assuredly would. I brought my new puppy, Gretel, in to be seen as she had an allergic reaction to what turned out to be nylon. I was very upset and asking a lot of questions during my first consultation. On my follow-up visit, they left me in a room to wait for the vet. When the veterinarian came in and opened Gretel's file, they had forgotten to remove the sticky note affixed to the top page that had the word "nut job" written on it. I most assuredly brought Gretel to this veterinary practice for the first time in 2006. They also sent me a postcard thanking me for bringing my cat, Abigail, into their practice and that they hoped to see her again soon. I brought my cat into their practice b/c she had to be put sleep due to severe health issues. I lived just around the corner on 4th and South Streets from 2005 - 2009. Their response is a complete lie. It does NOT matter where my reviews are based NOW. This is where I live NOW. I lived in PHILADELPHIA for MANY years as I noted in my review. I don't expect you to take ANY accountability for your unprofessional behavior. You didn't THEN, why should you now? NEW management and new owners are too very different things. HERE is your accountability. Your response should have started with nothing less than "I am sorry for your experience..." The lack of professionalism has not improved new management or not!!!! I am not a client of yours now, b/c: • Your client services were egregious • I no longer live in the state Neither of these reasons negate my ability to communicate my experience or review your services. If you are unhappy with the review, you fix that by doing better and apologizing - not trying to make excuses for the behavior. After all, your practice name has NOT changed. That makes you culpable for all experiences that happened under the practice name alone. And, to be very clear, I live in NYC, NOT Woodside NY. Your practice "QUEENS VILLAGE ANIMAL HOSPITAL" is called that, b/c you are located in Queens Village, Philadelphia, PA. 4th and South Streets are just around the corner from your practice and LESS than a five minute walk. Being in the petcare industry for 22 years and owning my own business for more than 12 years, I have graciously shared this review, experience, and your practice name with my 30k+ followers in the tri-state area. Now, you have a very good day and take some time to think about how you can elevate your services, embrace and have empathy for a diverse group of clients, and learn what it means to take responsibility for unprofessional, thoughtless, and hurtful behavior.
I'm really sorry I dont remember her name, but the last vet I saw was absolutely wonderful! The Asian lady. I felt really heard and she was so compassionate. All the vet techs are great too! The only reason why I'm switching vet hospitals is because I found a much closer one which will make the travel way less stressful for me and Suki since I'm without a car🙏🏼 I wanted to leave a review so the vet knows it's nothing against her or the clinic -- I'm simply switching due to travel distance. I had already made an appointment with the new vet before coming in. I knocked off a star because the front desk staff were not the friendliest in my few interactions with them.
Love this vet clinic so much. The front desk is speedy and super knowledgeable. I take my cat and my dog here for their annual checkups, and my dog also got spayed here. We have also come here for sick appointments and stool sample testing, etc. They are awesome. Please enjoy the included pictures of my dog making out with some staff members.
