The owner is extremely rude. At their previous location, it wasn’t very straight forward what room they worked out of. After showing up late, she lectured me on how I was sitting waiting on the wrong chairs. Then she refused to trim my beard bc I didn’t book it on her website (mind you, I was new to this establishment and the platform). I explained that I was happy to absolutely pay for the extra charge and I didn’t need anything fancy she interrupted by saying “I’m not cutting your beard!” … apparently she didn’t “book the time” for it (I literally takes 2 minutes just run a #2 over it and I’ll pay the extra $15) she refused. She took herself way too serious and I was not about to deal with all the attitude every two weeks. Highly recommend going elsewhere!

I finally had the chance to visit Genaka for a 15” hair donation (14” length minimum) and had a great experience. She was very welcoming and remembered me from my measurement check 4 months prior. It was amazing how she prepped my long hair and then styled my new short hairstyle. She gave me tips on my hair health too. I’ll be returning!

I've been looking for a barber that is amazing with beards since moving back to Kansas and Genaka hit it out of the park! Super clean shop, she's super friendly, good conversation, and good vibes. Needless to say I found my new barber!
