Ribeye is a solid choice for anyone looking for a quality steak restaurant, especially with the added benefit of halal food. The steaks were well-prepared and enjoyable, and while the prices are on the higher side, the quality made it worth it. Service was a little slow during my visit, but it was still courteous and acceptable overall. The restaurant itself was clean, tidy, and well maintained, and I appreciated that it was child-friendly, making it suitable for families. Overall, a good dining experience and one I’d happily return to.
An excellent halal steakhouse in a great location. Serves wagyu and 35 day aged steak; all cuts. I ordered ribeye and sirloin. Both were cooked to perfection in medium rare and medium. Sides all delicious too. The steak comes bare; all sauces, butters and sides are extras but still overall, the price is comparable or slightly lower than city centre steakhouses. I was not convinced that the non-serated steak knife would be good but it was sharp enough. My friend who ordered T-bone struggled with cutting the fat however. Decor and staff were also superb, service was excellent. Kids options were both filling and excellent value. Great mocktail options too.
This steakhouse in terms of aesthetics has it all going on, firstly they've got an amazing location in the centre of Birmingham. Then right from the outside the decor is stunning with the red carpet leading upto the doors. The insides are even more spectacular with a faux tree catching my eye. It was a lovely place to be. As soon as we arrived we were warmly welcomed and shown to our table. The waiter was also really knowledgeable and talked us through our selections. For starters we ordered the ribs and tacos and for mains we got a creekstone ribeye with their fiery chilli sauce as well as the beef wellington. We also got the douphinoise potatoes and mixed veg. After receiving such a warm welcome from the staff I really wanted to enjoy my meal as the staff and brothers seemed really nice, unfortunately the food didnt live upto the hosting vibes. The quality of the steak was amazing and it was also cooked to perfection - the accompaniments however were severely lacking. The steak wasnt rested enough and leaked its juices all over the plate. The chilli pepper sauce was really overpowering and completely lacked any beefiness, there was a smear of some sort of reduction on the plate which seemed to only serve an aesthetic purpose. With regards to the beef wellington the pastry on the outside was thick and almost reminiscent of a cornish pasty rather than a delicate puff which encapsulates the meat, the mushroom duxelle seemed to lack any sort of flavour and the grape reduction sauce lacked any depth whatsoever. The only word that comes to mind when looking to describe the dish is stodgy. The fillet of beef in the wellington was more towards and medium well which made the fillet somewhat chewy. And I was surprised to see that there weren't any salt and pepper mills on the table to try and force some flavour into the food - quite unfortunate. The starters were similarly lack lustre, I felt like we hardly got any meat on the ribs as they had been overcooked and the glaze was a runny sauce instead of a reduced sticky affair. The tacos were a similarly sad affair, suffice to say that fillet was overcooked and chewy. The side dishes of the veg and creamy potatoes were pretty decent. I chose to cut my losses and didnt have the heart to stay for dessert. I had high hopes for the resteraunt, they seemed to have all of the elements to make the place an amazing eatery and gastronomic experience but unfortunately failed in the execution. Hopefully they can improve and maybe I caught them on an off day. It was however new years eve and they seemed to be building a que with people looking to come in as we were leaving. It seems like a popular place.
We were warmly welcomed by friendly staff, who gave us some good recommendations. We opted for the Chef’s Platter in the end, which consists of lamb chop, beef ribs and chicken wings. All are delicious, lamb chops gives a nice kick of spices whilst the beef ribs boasts very soft and tender meat. Overall calm atmosphere and a modern classy decor. Note that this is a Halal steakhouse and no alcohol is served, mocktails are available and only filter water is served here.
Can’t fault the service or staff, especially Basim (I think this is his name, I did ask him 3 times and I’ve forgotten again 😭) and Katrina. Lovely experience and food was great. Filet was a lot better than the ribeye. I wouldn’t get the ribeye again. Mac and cheese and sweet potatoe fries were great but wasn’t a massive fan of the mash. Karma cola wasn’t the greatest - wouldn’t order that drink again. Overall was a good experience but for the price, food could be a little better. I would go back to try the Sunday roast! No wait for a table, seated immediately and late night which was appreciated.
