As soon as I walked in, the staff member who was behind the desk had his feet up on the cashier, didn’t look up. That’s fine. I said hello as I entered, no reply. I had a browse through and a lot of the books were quite expensive given the poor condition a lot were in. Lots of CDs and vinyls if you’re into that. As I left, I said thank you have a good afternoon, again no reply, just a stared at me as I left. Very unfriendly and weird vibes.

I’ve been collecting books and records from this store for years.. you never know what you’ll stumble across, there’s a really good variety, with good prices too 👍

I love this bookshop I have been going here for years and there is a good range of books, I love the owner he is the grumpiest man I’ve ever met and will always grunt at me when I walk in, I’ve seen him throw bags and books around quite entertaining. I appreciate the authenticity, I hope he is well though

The shop was cool, but the owner was awful. We had walked in to browse and multiple times the owner would grunt and sigh as we walk passed. As we were about to purchase 50 cent CD and were willing to pay, the owner grunted and obnoxiously threw it on the table and said to just take it. We wanted to keep browsing but he made it extremely uncomfortable to be in his store and we left. Not a professional business, and he seems to be dealing with his own personal issues. Would not reccomend! EDIT: Responding to your reply. Having a $10 limit to an eftpos does not excuse the behaviour you expressed towards a customer. We clearly were unaware of the limit and was willing to pay cash. We would have preferred a professional approach but instead was met with disrespect.

I love this place, I've gotten so many books from this little shop. It's such joy to rummage through the shelves looking for a little book of wisdom. They would have to have the best prices in town.
