I normally love Rick’s we live near by we always get our grass seed and trees from here every year. Last year the tree we got died pretty fast however once again the tree died I’ve had it a week it should not be dead I did all of the things it was 100 bucks

Rick's has a great selection and if you time it right, you can take advantage of some amazing sales. We benefited from there 50% off end of Aug sale and left with some new trees and shrubs. Staff was extremely friendly and went out of their way to find answers to our questions. We will be back.

Love this place. The selection of plants of all varieties is tremendous even trees, vegetable plants, native plants, exotic plants, succulents, and shrubs. The staff is very knowledgeable. They even had two master gardeners there yesterday. Which was super nice and very helpful. It’s all you would need in one place which makes it your one stop for everything and so much more to offer. Great selection of ceramic pots. Love love love. Lots of yard decor to chose from. Lots of trellises. Beautiful metal trellises. Lots of compost, soil amendments, topsoil, mulches, worm casings, worm tea and many more. I am very cautions what we put around our dogs and they have so many organic things. Very impressive service, price, quality and quality of plants and atmosphere all fantastic. All the employees there are always around and so very helpful, plus happy to be there and take pride in their job not to mention like I said, very knowledgeable. Makes you always want to come back. This is our favorite nursery in Colorado Springs. Five stars for Ricks Garden Center. All the employees exercise great care in every aspect of their work. I can’t say enough amazing things about this nursery. Great job guys you are very inspiring, talented, and deeply appreciated. Keep up the amazing work. It really shows. You make coming all the way across town for us a pleasure and always a happy experience. Thank you for all your hard work. I also want to mention an employee that checked us out yesterday. He was awesome and he needs a raise. I don’t know his name but he was from Texas a younger man. He was outstanding. Very respectful, caring, and so helpful. Went out of his way to find out the price for us on two ceramic pots. Even offered to help carry them for us. We really appreciated all his help. After all it’s the employees who make your business grow. It’s the employees like him who make your business what it is today. One of the reasons why people like us want to come back to your nursery. We checked out in the front and in the back and when we were leaving he was going by on one of the carts and he even took the time to yell out thank you and hope y’all have a great day. What a great way to end our trip to Rick’s Garden Center. Many thanks to that young man! He was an employee that stood out. In our world today that means a lot! It was important to us to praise this employee. He truly plays a crucial role in your team. I will have to look at our receipt and see if his name is on the receipt. His name is LANE- outstanding employee!!

This nursery is a one-of-a-kind. Have you been to at least 50 nurseries in your life to know what I mean? I have, and will be their customer for years to come. I live 3.5 hours away in Folsom, NM. I have been a cannabis grower since 1976 and am accessing my rights to grow 6 personal plants in New Mexico this year since New Mexico has become another great state to embrace cannabis legalization. I am only growing 4 plants, after all, however with the help of Build-A-Soil 3.0, which Rick’s carries as their top of the line potting soil, 4 plants will be enough. Believe it. I didn’t expect Rick’s to be such a gardening mecca until I drove up and started exploring. Their incredible property and layout, the vast selections, their perfect plant health, and the friendly, knowledgeable staff that is ever-present as you walk through and shop, makes this my favorite nursery anywhere. Anywhere meaning in the entire southwest USA. Maine, you’re on your own. I almost wish that I lived in the Colorado Springs area just so I could become a daily regular at the nursery. It’s that fine.

Wow! This is one incredible store. Everything a gardener could ever wish for! The prices here are reasonable, the selection is endless, the plants are very happy and healthy looking, and the store is huge. We went for spanish moss and found a few great options to choose from, they also seemed to have everything else I have on my to get list! The staff were very friendly and the store was so nice, we will definitely be returning to this Garden Center for our next plant &/ garden purchase!
