We recently moved to McKinney Texas and wanted to have a family antique bed refinished. This piece is very special to us as both my brother and I were born in this bed! The bed has to be at least 75-80 years old. It was a very worn Cherrywood bed. We found Rick on line and immediately knew he was the only one that could do this work. Rick is an old school artisan who’s passion is working with wood and appreciating the nuance that each piece represents. Rick was extremely fair and we loved that we could be involved along the way as he transformed this heirloom into a beautifully re-imagined antique. We decided on and Espresso finish which is very dark, but the natural cherry pigment came through beautifully. Rick is a very special guy and if you want to have something done right, he’s your guy. He also finished the canopy rails which we will be adding soon. 10 out of 10!
