I tried working on my first refinishing project, a desk with a butcher block top, and when things didn’t go quite as planned, Rick came in and completely saved the day! He even came to pick up the piece, which was a huge convenience, and his pricing was extremely fair. Communication was great throughout the entire process, and the quality of his work speaks for itself. We recently moved to McKinney Texas and wanted to have a family antique bed refinished. This piece is very special to us as both my brother and I were born in this bed! The bed has to be at least 75-80 years old. It was a very worn Cherrywood bed. We found Rick on line and immediately knew he was the only one that could do this work. Rick is an old school artisan who’s passion is working with wood and appreciating the nuance that each piece represents. Rick was extremely fair and we loved that we could be involved along the way as he transformed this heirloom into a beautifully re-imagined antique. We decided on and Espresso finish which is very dark, but the natural cherry pigment came through beautifully. Rick is a very special guy and if you want to have something done right, he’s your guy. He also finished the canopy rails which we will be adding soon. 10 out of 10!

Ricks work deserves 10 stars. He has the talent that most woodworking people dont have. He is affordable, knowledgeable, and does superior work. This is the second piece of furniture he has done for us. 1950s Ethan Allen coffee table.

Rick is a phenomenal craftsman. He refinished the top of my Grandmothers 104 year old dinning table that I tried to remove heat stains by myself. I made the table top worse. Rick was so quick to respond to my desperate call and was able to bring back the beauty of this cherished piece of furniture. I am forever grateful and strongly would recommend using his services.
