SO IMPRESSED with their staff and services!! Our dog gets to play with other great (vetted) dogs while also being taught obedience. This is our new favorite.
I’ve brought Cheddar to many doggie daycare/boarding locations around the DTLA area over the years and Riley’s is hands down the best among them all! The staff has been so friendly, attentive, and caring. I never have any anxiety when I leave Cheddar in their care. When Cheddar is boarding at Riley’s I get the best updates on how he is doing and can conveniently check the doggie cams if I feel like being a helicopter parent. Can’t recommend Riley’s Doggie Daycare enough! Thanks for always taking great care of Cheddar!
Riley’s Doggie Daycare is absolutely amazing! My dog, Cosmo, loves it so much that he’s excited every Monday morning to get up and go. The staff is incredibly caring and attentive, and I know Cosmo is in good hands while he's there. He always comes home happy and well-exercised, and it’s clear he has a great time with the other dogs. I couldn’t ask for a better place to take him. Highly recommend Riley’s for anyone looking for a reliable and loving daycare for their dog!
I have a nervous dog, and Riley's has helped her safely gain confidence around new people and other dogs. They take great care in ensuring your dog's health and safety by keeping a clean facility and separating dogs by size + demeanor. I can see their dog-obsessed and friendly staff give my sweet girl lots of forehead kisses on their webcams, which are only accessible if your dog is actively under their care. They are one of the few facilities that actually utilizes crates for naps during daycare + overnight boarding that I've been able to find in Los Angeles, which is incredible for dogs like mine that need crate time to chill out and feel safe. If your dog is not crate trained, they also have separate private rooms for the pups to stay in. Riley's has 2 separate indoor + outdoor play spaces for both the big and small dogs, so your pup can venture outside to sploot in the sunshine at their leisure and sniff the dogs in the other-sized area through the fence :) I really cannot sing enough praises about this place, it's truly the perfect doggy care spot for our dog's needs and I recommend them highly and exclusively.
Let me start off by saying, this review is LONG overdue. Like many pandemic pups my 2 1/2 year old Corgi Artie has separation anxiety and it takes him a while to warm up to dogs and people. I have tried multiple daycare's around the LA area and saw that there was no improvement in his anxiety, confidence, and corgi tendencies. He remained very timid and uncomfortable around people and dogs. But after taking him to Riley's, my husband and our friends have noticed a large difference in him. Angelique, Liz, and the Riley's staff take time to get to know each and every dog as well as their personalities. They are extremely attentive and dedicated to making each dogs time there as BEST as it can be. There is not only someone watching your dogs 24/7 but there is also a live camera stream that is rolling so you can check in on your pup at anytime! I love that they are keeping an eagle eye on all the dogs and that they don't hesitate to correct dogs when they get too excited. Did I mention that they also give the dogs nap time with music? (I know AMAZING right?) Whenever I drop him off for daycare Angelique and Liz greet Artie warmly by name and it is so comforting to see not only Artie happy and excited to be there but that the staff is reciprocating that energy to him! The facility itself is clean, spacious, and all around amazing. (Lots of room for my high energy boy to run around) I know a lot of dog parents are nervous about dropping their fur babies off to a facility where there are many dogs roaming freely around but I highly recommend you give Riley's a try. After the first time you will see that you have nothing to worry about and I guarantee that you will come to love it as much as your pup does! Thank you to the amazing staff at Riley's for showing us time and time again why you are THE BEST! WE LOVE YOU GUYS!
