We found this hidden gem in northwest Las Vegas by accident. The museum is very impressive! The artist Rita’s artwork as well as her second husband’s microscopic photos are awesome…. The receptionist girl and the curator of the outdoor sculpture garden are friendly and knowledgeable about the artist and the museum. Would be great to host future events here!

Hidden gem in the NW part of the valley. The studio is a beautiful extension of Rita's art. We enjoy wandering through and seeing her stunning art. Each time I have visited, something new sticks out and inspires me. Great place to take young ones. Enjoyable for the entire family.

We attended their first Free First Friday! Out tickets were for 1:30, purchased online via Vegas Kid Zone website. I am so happy to have been introduced to this incredible local artist & museum. Located inconspicuously in a Northwest Las Vegas neighborhood, you'll be utterly flabbergasted to discover this hidden gem. As soon as you open the massive doors, you will be transported into a huge, stunning gallery, flowing with natural light. You'll discover there are additional rooms and paths that branch off the main area showcasing additional pieces. Lastly, you'll step outside to explore her largest pieces located along the property. You will be blown away to discover that the artist used so many different mediums to create her masterpieces. From sculptures to wall art and windows, big and small, you will discover a variety of installations sure to excited the eye. Metal, wood, acrylic, oil, pastels, ink, glass. She bent them all to her will so easily and fantastically. This is the perfect pre-dinner datenight(they close early), Homeschool fieldtrip(I took my teen), or just a peaceful day of inspiration and relaxation. Whatever you decide, you'll be glad you stopped by. Tell your friends! Importent to note: Advance Tickets are required. Not good for small children, absolutely no touching.

Went to a tibetan bowl sound bath event at this beautiful gallery. The space was perfect for this event, and the artist who performed was truly wonderful. It was a relaxing Sunday mid-morning occasion. The gallery had wonderful acoustics, and the sounds played from the various bowls were relaxing. The artwork by Rita Deanin Abbey was exquisite. I hope to come back for another sound bath performance such as this in October. Highly recommend it for the $20 entrance fee. 👏🎨

We had a wonderful visit to the Rita Deanin Abbey Museum! What an amazing artist who used a diverse range of materials - from acrylics to resins, plastics to bronze, to fiberglass & steel. Laura, the art Director, has so much knowledge to share about each piece. We highly recommend visiting.
