After my 12 year old dog passed away, I was in an absolute panic at the thought of going thru potty training a new puppy after all those years. Sue was recommended to me. When I called her, she was so very understanding and was at my house the day after I brought my 10 week old puppy home. Just having her there with her expertise was such a calming factor for me. Sue really understands the mind of a dog and I learned so much from her during our puppy sessions. I have had dogs my entire life and I have never felt I had the necessary tools in starting off on the right foot until now. Sue is always there for you if you need to call; and with her expertise, she is terrific in how she deals with your dog. Also, she is very patient with you and gives so much of her time. I highly recommend Sue and will continue to refer her to others!

I just finished my 8 sessions with Sue and she has helped me so much to understand the importance of training. Marvin, my 9 month old goldendoodle puppy, has been very successful in his training with Sue. She truly has a passion for helping you with your dog and wants you to be as successful as possible in your training. I’m glad I was recommended her as a trainer and thankful she will forever be there for guidance for my dog if troubles arise in the future. Thank you, Sue!

Through her patience and guidance with effective techniques, we now have the tools, skills, and confidence needed for a well behaved canine companion. Sue is awesome at what she does and works very hard to set you and your dog up for success. Thank you Sue.

Sue is an excellent trainer. Sue provided me with 8 private in home training sessions. She offered realistic and successful steps on how to train my 70 pound puppy so that he and I are able to respect each other and live peacefully and joyfully together. If there were any challenges it was with ME... consistency is the key and utilizing the techniques and tips that Sue has given me has been so positive! Sue is flexible and knowledgeable and truly has a love for dogs.

Sue agreed to train our French Bulldog, Bella, even though she was over 3 years old and had several bad habits. Sue trained her for over 12 weeks and we were amazed at what Sue had accomplished. Bella had learned at least 6-8 basic obedience behaviors, such as sitting and staying on command, laying down, fetching, sitting until we gave her permission to eat, among others. Sue understands how dogs think and behave and our experience with Sue was a total eye opener. I think every dog owner should allow Sue to train their new dog and learn good basic pet behavior. I think it makes your dog a much better pet and you should do it before bad behaviors are learned. We were also impressed that Sue continues to offer help and advice as we learn new things about our dog or encounter issues. Sue also cares for our dog when we are out of town, which maintains continuity of training. We highly recommend Sue Torpy!! Doug and Nancy, November 7, 2017
