If you’re trying to decide where to take your vehicle, this is the shop. I’ve had a lot of work done here over time, and every visit has reinforced that I made the right choice. They do quality work, explain what’s actually needed, and stand behind what they do. On the rare occasion something needed attention afterward, they took care of it — and then some — without hesitation. That’s what separates a good shop from a great one. I had a clutch job done and chopped 10 different mechanic shops. Some of them wanted 150 $140 an hour, but Russ was such a professional Russell the muscle Owner was so kind Professional down to earth and worked with me and out of all of the shopping around going to two mechanic shops I came to the conclusion that he not only knew more. He knew how to make it an affordable price and then at the end through in a complementary roadside assistance for two years and a warranty of two years on parts and labor. What an outstanding man. It was a pleasure to find mechanics who still operate under the old. It ain’t about the money it’s about customer service professionalism, and his 30+ years of experience have turned him into one outstanding business man in town. I highly recommend his shop. I can’t say enough words about how impressed I was and he is now my mechanic on all matters from here on out he’s got a large team working for him all respectful Mario did the work was helpful enough to help put on her because I’m so exhausted you helped me put on a windshield wiper blade. Before I drive back to Florida to a small apartment to keep my health I have stage four cancer. Russ said swing back by before you leave. It will take a last minute look over. Make sure that you’re safe on the road brother. What kind old-fashioned service rest my Hat is off to you. Would I choose these people again? I’ve already chosen for every job in the future so long as I live between Fort Wayne and Florida and I’ll even save repairs from Florida. They can wait and have Russ do them when I return. Someone preferred me to R&l automotive to what I needed taken care of with my automobile I went there and from the time I walked in the front door. I was welcome with smile and a handshake I describe what was going on with my car right away. They knew exactly what was wrong. The cost was very reasonable. I was very happy after a couple of days I received a text from them wanting to know how my automobile was running. That is really outstanding for some company to give you a follow up I highly recommend RNL automotive I will definitely be back with my automobile needs
My dad is a mechanic and took care of my vehicle(s) when I lived back in Kansas. Unfortunately, I do not have that luxury any more. So, after I experienced my 2016 Jeep Renegade having some problems and having it diagnosed as spark plug issues. I brought my vehicle to R&L Automotive who took care of it swiftly and also diagnosed that my car had a leaking valve cover gasket which took them less time than they estimated and I can't help but appreciate all the hard work, great shop personalities, and incredibly transparent but fair pricing with their establishment! The entire ride home was the smoothest ride I have had all week and it's all thanks to them! If I have any other issues, I know to call Rick (accompanied by a very snazzy, well-paid swear jar) and the team at R&L for all my automotive needs!
I would never take my car back here again. I paid $56 just to get my car back even though they didn’t fix or properly diagnose anything. I clearly explained that my 2015 Nissan Altima only overheats after driving for a while and that they’d need to drive it longer to see the issue. They said they’d “squeeze me in,” and I understood that, but if you didn’t find anything right away, why not just hold the car until you had time to actually test it properly? Instead, the guy started yelling and arguing with me on the phone, acting like I was the problem. I would’ve gladly let them keep the car until they could really check it, but they rushed me to pick it up for no reason. On top of that, he randomly told me I had “a bunch of oil leaks” but couldn’t tell me where they were or what kind. He said they’d have to run more tests to find out — so why even bring it up? The shop smelled horrible when I walked in, the environment was gross, and the staff was rude and dismissive. I felt completely disrespected and taken advantage of. Total waste of time and money.
