Picking up a to-go order, I get there. "I'm sorry, it's not ready yet, about 5-10 minutes" ok. "I'm sorry give us another 10-15 minutes" ok. "I'm so sorry, she's just now starting the order, give us 20 minutes" I ask how is she just now starting it after I've been waiting for 30 minutes? "We had in house orders and they come first; would you like a free water for your wait" IM SORRY, What? Keep your water. After waiting 1 hour and 22 minutes, my order was ready. 2 rolls and dumplings is all I was waiting for. I will never order from here again.
Went for a birthday dinner and overall was a 3 at best. Food was mid, gyoza was cold, miso had hardly any tofu or seaweed, beef was dry and overcooked. Hot dishes all lacked in flavor. Best item was the sushi rolls but still not any better than grocery store sushi. Service was the same, we were the only table with one waitress there and still had to ask for things several times. No heads up on the 20% up charge for 6 ppl so my bad for not catching it, and adding extra. Definitely not worth a 35% tip by far! Place was not worth a return.
We had a wonderful experience tonight. Our Waitress Julyssa made sure we had everything we needed and took very good care of us! The food was amazing and it was our first time here. We will be Back!
Tiny lil spot tucked away in Corpus, great vibe and undoubtedly some of the freshest and tastiest sushi I have ever eaten. They are on the come up...go support and enjoy. They do get busy however in peak hours, so get there early!!!
The restaurant dining room is kind of small but cozy. The was one server/hostess working. The ronin beef bowl was decent but not worth the price. The meat was kind of mushy and the rice was very microwave type rice. My son had the same dish and had similar feedback. The spicy tuna roll was good and probably saved the meal. My daughter had the California roll and did not finish it because of the rice texture. I personally don’t feel it’s worth the price but there are other items on the menu worth trying.
