Robert did a great job on an old chair I need fixed. It was broken or loose in a number of places and he came over and assessed what needed to be done with the chair and fixed it and brought it back to me. Bob is an affable guy that knows what he is doing because he has been doing it for a long time.

In July of 2025 the leg of our dinning room table fractured. The fracture was complex. Searching for a craftsman to do the repair, we found Robert Schmidt. Robert’s initial attempt was to glue the broken piece. Unfortunately, this initial attempt failed. Robert continued to work the problem to find a solution. Considering the style of the furniture leg and the material, Robert worked with another woodworker/furniture maker to incorporate oak within the leg to strengthen all the legs. This plan returned the furniture leg to its original condition. Since the repair, we have used the table many times without any issue. Robert Schmidt is a craftsman. I highly recommend Robert for furniture repair.
