I have two antique pieces of furniture that were badly damaged during a moving from Philadelphia to Atlanta! Weathersby Guild of Atlanta did an extraordinary job by restoring them, especially a French Charles X bookshelf (mid-18th century). Some columns were missing, some parts broken, and a shelf was dislocated! The restoration included the creation of new pieces, which look exactly like the ancient ones. I am grateful to Weathersby's team of cabinet makers to have given back its original soul to this cherish family piece of furniture.

Wonderful experience at Weathersby! They turned a very old and worn piece of furniture into a stunning masterpiece. They exceeded my expectations! Perfect color and excellent work! Thank you!

I took in a dropleaf table I inherited from my grandparents to be restored. The lady in the front office was very nice and attentive throughout the whole process. I was especially happy with the restoration of my table. Their craftsmanship is like no other.

I contacted them in September to see if they could refurbish my grandmother’s rocking chairs which I now have. They responded via e-mail and confirmed that they could do it and said I could get them back in October. It is now December 15 and I still don’t have my chairs. They have scheduled delivery three times and have not shown up nor called. They have never called me the whole three months that they have had my chairs. I finally went there to lay eyes on my chairs. They were there - finished! It is now December 15, and I still don’t have my chairs.

Definitely be wary here. Lack of communication led to a bad experience. 4 weeks went by and there was zero confirmation of the progress and stain to be used on our coffee table. We just decided to pick it up and take it somewhere else. Also very rude dialogue from the lady at the front desk. Maybe try and treat people with more respect. Pretty wild that they operate this way.

Weathersby Guild was contracted by the insurance company we filed a claim with for damage sustained during a move with Hilldrup (don’t use them ever!!). The adjuster and the woman he was training showed up to my house to assess the damaged items (over 20 - seriously do not use Hilldrup). The Weathersby Guild employee was not thorough in his assessment - prompting a process of me having to submit more photos of damage that should have been collected by this employee at the time of his assessment. More disturbingly, the employee lied in his report. Claiming that he repaired damages to items on sight when this did not occur. He was also reckless in his practice, attempting to manipulate damaged electrical cords and proceeding to attempt to use items with damaged electrical cords to complete his assessment. This posed a huge safety and fire risk to my home. However, despite all this, The most displeasing fact came just today, weeks after our assessment with Weathersby guild. I received a phone call three times in a row from an Atlanta area code number unknown to me. When somebody calls like this, repeatedly in a row, it is typically due to an emergency. I was in a very important work meeting at the time of these phone calls and had to excuse myself to answer the call. My father is in hospice and I feared the worst news. With trembling hands I answered the call to be screamed at from the caller“THIS IS THE MOVER, IM HERE TO GET YOUR FURNITURE FOR WEATHERSBY GUILD”. We didn’t arrange for any repairs to be completed by WG as I did not find them to be reputable. WG had given out my phone number - and my husbands phone number - to a mover erroneously. Furthering my suspicions that they clearly lack attention to detail. I wouldn’t use this company again.. ever.
