*Update : my last climbing session was incredible! The problems were great, the quantity and quality were superb, and the grading was perfectly set! I also want to thank all of the staff at ROKC for taking their customer reviews seriously. I had also one staff member reach out to me personally to see what could be done to improve their bouldering. Myself and multiple other climbers I have spoken with are all in agreement that things have significantly improved! Thank you for listening!!!! Over the last several weeks the problems at the underground have felt sparse and underwhelming. I’ve been a founding member since ROKC opened and until now have never had anything negative to say about the setters. I initially thought it was just me, but seeing that in certain areas no new problems have been added in the cave since 8/16 and in those areas there are as few as 1-2 problem starts. I’m starting to think that it’s not just my subjective observation. In the 1st photo, there a total of 2 problem “starts”. In the second photo, there is only one start to a VB-V0. The quality and quantity of the problems have taken a steep turn for the worse. With that being said, there are still a lot of very good, very fun, very challenging problems. But those are being outnumbered by the unenjoyable, frustrating, sandbagged problems. I really hope this is just a phase and I’m just catching the gym at a weird time. I've been climbing for 11 years, I consistently climb V6-V7, and I can confidently say that the underground is the most “un-fun” it has ever been. I’m not trying to shit post, but rather I hope this might lead to an improved quality and quantity of problems. Thank you for taking the time to take this into consideration. It is also worth noting that rather than climbing at a climbing gym, I felt my time would be better spent writing a google review.

One visit and you’ll understand why it was ranked sixth best climbing gym in America. A unique climbing experience with a good mix of difficult and beginner climbs. The setters are fabulous and the staff are very helpful.

I have not had a chance to use the facility yet but i did get the opportunity to tour the place and get information about pricing. It seems totally affordable and well worth the reasonable amount of money that would be spent for a membership. I haven't been this excited to go work out in a while. I would say it's worth at least a day pass to try it out with out a doubt.

Been to plenty of climbing gyms this one has Friendly staff, unique experience, plenty of wall to climb! I love that it is underground in a repurposed space! Definitely a must visit! It was fairly quiet on this visit and was perfect for newbie climbers.
