So thankful I found this place! Several of my friends told me about Roots but I was hesitant to spend the money. So glad I did! I consider this health care now. I’ve struggled with mid back pain for years and this team helped me immediately. They are so knowledgeable. No more paying for physical therapists! It is worth the money to have one on one personalized training. My strength has increased significantly and it has made everyday life noticeably easier, not to mention I’m fitting in my clothes better.

Glutes by Roots. Yes, that’s the headline and I would wear that shirt proudly. They can do more than glutes — but, let’s be honest, that’s every girl’s dream. I found Roots because I love lifting… however, I’ve been “strong wrong” for years and gotten away with it till I couldn't. Sure I looked fit, but at a detriment. Torn meniscus, questionable mechanics, pure stubbornness. I’m basically a late-model truck. The AC didn’t work, the clutch was touchy… but I’ll still climb that mountain. I could tell from their bio they were different. I wasn’t wrong. A few weeks in, my knee stopped trying to exit stage left with my back acting as my workhorse every time I squatted. My tracking improved. My movement improved. And this time? I’m getting strong the right way. Functional strength was my #1 goal. Aesthetic muscle changes? Yes and yes. That gets two enthusiastic thumbs up. Here’s what Roots has that a lot of places don’t: Intelligence. Kinesiology is real. Bodies don’t all fire the same way. They actually coach accordingly. Integrity. Every rep matters. Every cue matters. They care about output — not ego. Family. Small gym. All shapes, sizes, ages. They push you to your max — wherever that is. And when someone gets that extra rep? We all feel excited and proud for them. Fun. It’s hard work. But it’s the good kind. Not gonna lie, sometimes I still tilt my head sideways during a new exercise demo. I’m not putting that evil on me by saying it looks crazy. Trust me, it all just works somehow. Go back up to bullet 1 - Intelligence. So should you try Roots Fitness? Yes. I'm still working on getting the t-shirt :)
