Miss Rose is absolutely wonderful! She doesn’t just take care of her customers - she truly takes pride in her craft, and it shows in her fabulous work. Everyone in town recommended her to me, and I’m so glad they did. I honestly think she’s the only person in town who could have handled the boning in my dress. Best local tailor with actual credentials. Rose was the former Nordstrom men's tailor manager for 12 years+ not only for the Anchorage branch but the Portland, Oregon Lloyd center! Her prices are moderate but come with a warranty! In-store purchases also come with deeply discounted alterations and satisfaction guaranteed. Her former store is no longer affiliated with her, so make sure you're visiting the Arctic and Benson location.

Rose did an amazing job on my wedding dress. Not only did she have a quick turn around, she was the sweetest lady and is an amazing tailor. She made my dress fit perfectly. It was a lace dress and she had to deal with the intricate lace and also the silk lining. When she was done you could not even tell it was altered. I could not have been happier. She is also a pleasure to be around. I added pictures of the front and back to show how well it fit. Thank you Rose!!
