I have four businesses that I help run and this by far has to be the worst company experience I have ever experienced!!! . I was told by their field supervisor that my job would be on the lower end of their $2,000–$7,000 range—“around $2,000” for a small leak with real hardwood floors that could be dried in place. That statement is the only reason I agreed to move forward with them. Instead, I received a final bill more than double what I was told to expect, with no communication or warning during the work that the price would be significantly higher. In today’s economy, this feels like blatant price inflation. This experience mirrors many of the other Google reviews—especially from women—about unnecessary price hikes and misleading service. It’s deeply disappointing to see such a large company operate this way. I paid the bill just to be done with the situation, but based on this experience, I will never use Roto-Rooter again and will not recommend them to friends, family, or any businesses I work with. BUYERS BEWAREEEEEEEEE ! DONT EVEN GIVE THEM A CHANCE!!!!

Worst experience ever. Do not use RotoRooter. They are a scam! Poor customer service, horrible scheduling, and very expensive. I wish that I could have had the time to research other plumbers - I would have chosen someone else. $570 for 20min of work is a huge ripoff. No one would quote a price before they came to my house, and I would not have scheduled an appt if I knew that they were 2x the price of several other plumbers. $570 for 20min is $1,710 an hour!!! Are you kidding me?!? Then they wanted to provide a free video inspection of my pipe. When I declined the offer they told me that my 6mo warranty for the work that was done was voided. What a scam!
