His genuine good natured humor, creates a very positive environment for all the members of his staff, who are kind, respectful, skilled, and attentive, in helping to make the whole tax preparation process as stress free, as possible.

Our irs tax return was stolen via a data breach from the online service Lee Accountancy uses to file tax returns and store all our most private information. I’ve had to freeze my credit and change all online passwords. Months later I’m still trying to get my tax return with minimal help and support from Lee Accountancy Group. I now need to book an in person appointment with an IRS advocate to confirm my identity before getting my return. This is after multiple steps trying to do this online. Meanwhile I receive Lee Accountancy marketing emails that come across tone deaf given the data breach they themselves experienced. I’d rather know what Lee Accountancy is doing to protect their customers then them telling us about tax news and marketing material.

To anyone reading this, DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF USING THIS FIRM'S SERVICES. Mr. Lee and his staff are the most unprofessional and rude people I have ever come across. I was scheduled for a 30 minute virtual consultation with Mr. Lee. Besides showing up 7 minutes late, he also wouldn't let me finish my questions, kept interrupting me, and said he only had a couple of minutes to talk. He didn't want to hear anything I had to say and told me to email him my questions. Why schedule a 30 minute tax consultation if you're just going to tell the customer to email you? Mr. Lee then hung up on me as I was explaining my tax situation. Additionally, his office intentionally ignored my subsequent calls. I know there are other good reviews for this place, but those are inaccurate. The Lee Accountancy Group and Mr. Lee are an embarrassment to the tax consultancy profession. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. You will end up wasting your time and money.

The Lee Accountancy Group has been my 'go to' for tax filing services since moving to West Oakland two years ago. Everyone at the company is professional and helpful; the services provided are tremendous; their online services are easy and convenient; and their fees are reasonable; all making for an as-close-to-pain-free' tax filing as it can possibly be. Highly recommended!
