It is the best pizza and great service. Our server was Lewis and he was nice and attentive too. I had the fennel sausage pizza and caramelised onions and more. And it was delicious. Thank you, it was a great experience having lunch today.
Food was incredible and somehow service was even better. Emily took her time to chat and ask a little about us while we were deciding what we wanted. She also helped us to experience burrata for the first time. Really feels homely. You will see us again very soon. Thank you so much Emily for making the experience even better.
Best pizza experience ever! My "all-time favorite pizza" ranking just changed today. I had the Triple Pepperoni pizza with chilli honey as a dipping sauce, paired with their signature pale ale. Honestly, I finished the whole plate by myself, and even on my way home, I couldn't stop thinking about the flavors. This was my first meal out in Manchester, and it was the best choice I could have made. I also have to mention the staff—they are the sweetest and most welcoming people. Thank you for making my day.
Second time coming to Rudy's Ancoats (we’re not local!) and it’s been wonderful as before! The staff are so friendly and happy to chat to you when you’re not sure what to have, or when you’re just really into Rudy’s like we are! It’s a lovely laid back atmosphere, and the food is always absolutely delicious. We shared the triple pepperoni and the porchetta and they were both banging. There’s not many pizzas where I live the crusts just as much as the middle! (Picture has prince missing because I literally couldn’t stop myself from diving straight in)
my partner and i came in to celebrate our 7th anniversary, as this is the first place we had a date night when we first visited manchester while thinking about moving here. as always, the food was amazing. we split the garlic bread appetizer and it is AMAZING. indulgent, cheesy, garlicky, salty, bready. could house several of these. there’s nothing else you really need, and yet we carried on. my husband got the triple pepperoni and a crispy diet coke. classic, perfect, satisfying. i stole pepperonis off his pizza while he wasn’t looking and was very surprised to find it was incredible. like it tasted like it belongs on a fancy charcuterie board. ANYWAY, i ordered an entire burrata to myself because it’s my favorite thing in the world and we were celebrating and life is short, so eat the entire burrata. i could write a novel about my feelings on burrata and how much i love this particular one, but i wont. just get it. i also got a cesar salad and rudy’s is not shy with the parmesan, which is truly beautiful. i did end up covering it cracked black pepper. i did whack some cesar dressing drenched romaine leaves on my crispy bread and then topped it with burrata, some of the best little tomatoes i’ve ever had (rudy’s always has good tomatoes, i can trust them) and some dressed arugala. savoury girls get it. OH also i got a cloudy apple and cherry spritz and this is literally my favorite drink ever and ive tried to recreate it at home but i cant, so rudy’s has a lifetime customer. anyway, all of this was made possible by our incredibly personable server, emily. she was warm and very accommodating, she got all of our food perfectly, and did so while buzzing around a very busy restaurant, but i never saw her break a sweat. she also took a beat to have a chat with us, and when she found out it was our anniversary, she got us some tiramisu (to takeaway, we were very full) she was super sweet, witty, and gave very cool, chill vibes. anyone who is lucky enough to get her as a server is in for a treat. IN CONCLUSION thank you for the cozy night out helping us celebrate. we loved the food, the staff, and the overall inclusive vibes. we will 100% be back again, this is a favorite date night spot for us. thank you emily!!!! 🩷🩷🩷 also p.s. the tiramisu was an utter joy to consume
