From the get-go, Matt has been extremely honest and straightforward with us about what he can and can't do in an incredibly competitive industry. He is the most transparent SEO provider I've ever worked with, making sure that we know everything he is doing for us and he puts in more work than I've ever seen anyone put in on an SEO account! He is proactive with reaching out with reports each month as well and evaluating based on the previous month AND on the same time period last year and uses Google's reporting metrics, not some hijinked dashboard that is weighted in his favor! On the one occasion in over a year that we had some backwards movement, he was transparent about it, proactive and came to us with a plan for what he's doing to recover the next month...and it did! I've been incredible skeptical and suspicious of SEO providers since my first manager at a marketing agency confided that "you don't actually have to DO any work on SEO for a client...charge them $1000/month and every time they ask, tell them that it just takes time and your process is proprietary." It freaked me out! I've watched way too many small business owners get taken advantage of by SEO providers who appear to do exactly that and it sickens me. When I first found Matt as a provider for a client in an extremely competitive industry, I was anxious about making that referral because it's so important to me that anyone I refer upholds the reputation I've worked so hard to build for myself. I'm beyond happy and can refer anyone to him with absolute confidence!
