I needed several rings resized and my husband suggested we go to Salem Gem Lab to have this done. He had worked with Helen in the past with appraisals for insurance needs. I felt welcomed as I spoke with Helen and confident all the work would be done well. I was not disappointed! Not only did all my rings fit beautifully but they sparkled as well. I highly recommend Salem Gem Labs!

We always have an exceptional experience at Salem Gem Lab and Jewelry from start to finish. Every visit, we’re genuinely welcomed and treated as if we’re their only customers. Helen’s love for what she does shines throughout the entire process, and it’s evident in the care, attention, and pride she brings to her work. The team takes the time to listen and make us feel truly valued—something that really sets them apart. We’ve had experiences at other jewelry stores where we didn’t feel the same level of respect or attention, especially when our jewelry wasn’t considered “worthy.” That has never been the case here. Salem Gem Lab consistently delivers outstanding service, kindness, and professionalism, and we wouldn’t go anywhere else.

This is the second time I have been to Salem Gem Lab and Jewelry Store. This time around I went to sell some gold scrap and silver pieces that I had from items that have either broken or lost the pair to. Both times the service has been amazing. From the beginning Mrs. Helen was very helpful explaining different things about the gold and silver. John was able to remove little diamonds from an old earring so that I can reuse for something else. I will definitely be going back. Thank you both I appreciate the all around amazing service. Z.W.

This place has been nothing but awesome. Great customer service and the only ones around town that do what they do. I came in cuz I needed to know the true value of my jewelry and I had a lot of jewelry. Like a lot lot. They gave me a very generous price to appraise it considering the amount of jewelry and Betty was very thorough and honest about the value and what they would be willing to give. Helen and Betty are super kind ladies and they make it such a good experience just to sit around and chat. True southern hospitality. If you're looking for great, honest and thorough Jewelers in the triad area. This is definitely the place to go.

John did the best job on the pieces I brought in for customization and repair, especially on the most difficult piece, an antique class ring. The staff is honest with their advice and feedback and you won't regret going with their recommendations, which they align with your needs. I will definitely be back with more work. Thank you
