I photographed a wedding here recently. The new patio with glass is gorgeous. The restaurant was very nice and all the staff were great. Only rude person was the valet guy on a power trip.
We have come to the dining room numerous times over the years. We drive out from Seattle and bring out of town guests with us. Today's trip made us feel like second class citizens even though our money is as green as everyone else's. We tend to not make reservations as we keep things casual and it's part of a day trip. We understand that reservations are necessary on the weekends; however we came today (Monday) for brunch. If you do not have reservations you are relegated to a specific section even when the dining room and the terrace are half empty. If that's not ridiculous enough, we were told they only do the honey drizzle for those with reservations due to timing. Although the food has never been great here, today even the pancakes were disappointing. They were dense and heavy. I needed a knife to eat them. With the recent renovations they have also slimmed down the menu. The country breakfast, which is easily enough food for three people and costs $75, has a $25 sharing fee, so one person can pay $75 and take home a bunch of leftovers or two people can spend $100 for the same meal?? Overall, very disappointing. You've lost this former repeat customer.
I visited Salish Lodge with a big group of family members and kids, and from the moment we pulled up, I was impressed. Every part of the service was excellent—valet, hosts, and especially the servers, who handled our party of 10+ with calm, kindness, and genuine attentiveness. We came during their Christmas celebration, which made the visit even more special. The complimentary hot chocolate was a hit, the Santa photo setup was smooth and well-organized, and the staff even went out of their way to bring our boxed leftovers straight to the photo area. Little touches like that really stood out. Since we arrived between meal times, we ordered from the lounge menu, but everything we had—food and drinks—was still great. And of course, the setting is incredible. Overlooking Snoqualmie Falls, the lodge and restaurant have views that alone are worth the trip. Even with holiday crowds, every staff member we met was warm, patient, and genuinely welcoming. It was a fantastic first experience at the lodge and definitely made me want to return for an overnight stay. An exceptional visit all around. Easy 10/10.
We visited Salish Lodge with a large group of family and kids, and I was genuinely impressed from the moment we arrived. The service was outstanding across the board—valet, hosts, and especially the servers who handled our group of 14+ with ease and so much kindness. We were there during their Christmas event, and it was such a wonderful experience. The complimentary hot cocoa was delicious, the Santa photos were beautifully organized, and the staff even brought our boxed leftovers directly to the photo area—such thoughtful service. Even though we arrived at an off time and only had access to the lounge menu, the food and drinks were very good. The setting itself is absolutely stunning; the restaurant and lodge overlook Snoqualmie Falls, and the views alone make the visit memorable. Despite the holiday crowds, every staff member we interacted with was friendly, patient, and genuinely welcoming. This visit was a fantastic introduction to the lodge, and it definitely made me want to come back and experience a full stay. A truly top-notch experience. 10/10.
My husband and I enjoyed the full Salish Lodge & Spa experience this weekend in celebration of our 2 year wedding anniversary. The amazing hospitality began the moment we pulled up to valet - my husband and I were instantly greeted by the manager, Chris, and valet attendants, who all addressed us by first and last name upon opening our doors. It was at this moment I immediately felt like royalty. From there we were greeted with warm smiles by the front desk staff who quickly got us checked in and informed us of their fantastic amenities. There was lovely live music playing in the lobby and a lounge filled with happy people, we sincerely enjoyed the ambiance. It's a beautiful hotel, unlike any I have ever stayed in before. Upon entering our room there were rose petals EVERYWHERE, a bottle of rose on ice, and a personal card written by the manager. We had access to their Club 268 which is almost like a speakeasy with snacks and beverages, we LOVED this! It felt very posh. After that we had a private waterfall pool reservation with access to a cold plunge and beverages, followed by a couples fireside massage with hot stones. The level of relaxation we both felt after that was beyond what words can explain. From there we had dinner at their restaurant and also enjoyed the restaurant for breakfast. I could go on forever about how extraordinary this experience was, but I'd recommend to anybody that you go experience it for yourself, you will not be disappointed! Whether you're looking for a girls trip, romantic getaway with your partner, or a solo spa day, this is the place for you! My husband and I cannot wait to come back. To Chris, and the entire staff, THANK YOU for one of the most incredible experiences ever. It was truly unforgettable!
