Loved the Timing & Musicality workshop. No dancing, just learning how to deconstruct any song, where the core instruments come in, percussion, etc. Lots of listening and clapping to the rhythm. The instructor was very entertaining, passionate and incredibly knowledgeable. Highly recommend this experience if you want to understand the music, not just learn the steps. So cool.
Mario is an incredible teacher. And they have parking at the nearby school on Hancock. Highly highly recommend!
I recommend this Latin dance studio without question. Very reputable studio. Smaller classes than other competing studios. Instructors here pay attention to everyone. The other students have been so nice and welcoming. Mario is the owner, 30 years experience. He’s funny and nurturing. He came HIGHLY recommended by other very reputable salsa instructors. I’m happy to be at this studio. I take salsa and bachata classes. I’ve taken private and group lessons here.
My husband and I took a private salsa class as total beginners, and had the best time. Mario is a great teacher, very patient, and his studio is super welcoming. We’re already talking about our next lessons and can’t wait to get back there! I would recommend for anyone who had been too scared or intimidated to try salsa in the past!
