This review is based on my personal experience at this place, and unfortunately, it was extremely disappointing. The garage has a reputation for not doing their job properly, and I experienced this firsthand. On two separate occasions, they fitted new tyres onto my car without doing track and balance, without applying sealing compound, and without cleaning the alloy edges. They also failed to check for leaks after fitting. As a result, the tyre lost air immediately and went completely flat within minutes and the alloy was damaged in the process. I waited for a refund, which took three frustrating days of back-and-forth. While I was there, I even watched both workers fitting tyres onto other customers’ cars without doing track and balance at all. It seems to be their standard practice. I strongly recommend avoiding this place. It ended up being a complete waste of money and time for me. They may be cheap, but there’s a reason for that. Please save yourself the hassle and let your friends and family know as well.

Great customer service and reliable work! I really appreciate the professionalism and consistency of your team. Everything is always done so well. My only suggestion would be to extend the weekend hours to 6pm that would make things even more convenient!”

Completely honest review of Sam’s Tyres. They have very friendly service the lady who checked my car in and dealt with all the paperwork was great. They’re extremely speedy and efficient with good pricing aswell. If you need a next day MOT this is the place to go. The only thing stopping it being a 5* review is the fact I received a call at 5:50pm on a Tuesday advising my car was ready for collection, I arrived at around 6:30pm and they were still there and I collected the car. 2 days later I had some more work completed and again received a call at 5:55pm to collect the vehicle. I headed down straight away and arrived at 6:35pm on a Friday due to some traffic at which point they had closed and gone home. Unfortunately this made me waste £30 on Ubers and an hour of my time. It would have been nice if they had just advised I picked it up the next morning instead. Other than that small break down in communication everything else with their service is top tier! Thanks Guys.

I can highly recommend sam tyres for tyres, MOT and major work. They have a great friendly staff that are honest and clear with what work needs doing and how much it will cost. They are flexible in their work offering multiple option that may suit you in terms of time and cost. Lost of mechanics on shift all the time so you are never waiting long for work either.

They got me in quickly and knew I had to go to work so got on and sorted my car out 1st thing. I really appreciated that. The female I delt with was really nice and helpful and communicative. I have a few advisories on my MOT but they quoted reasonable prices to fix. So far a very good experience. Thanks
