David & Buffy were amazing through my home buying journey. Right off the bat, David was attentive, communicative, and also got me a killer rate which made home ownership not only possible, but ridiculously affordable. I would recommend him to anybody looking right now. He was able to get me rates and a max purchase price $50,000 more than any other lender I spoke to. I didn’t use the full limit, but it really made a difference in the type of home I was able to buy based on the other approvals I was given. Throughout the process, he was able to drop my rate a ton, which ended up bringing my monthly payment at closing to hundreds of dollars less than I paid in rent. Buffy was my underwriter and I adored working with her. You hear a lot of horror stories about the underwriting process but she handled my paperwork swiftly and was really responsive. I didn’t have the traditional horror story experience you hear about working with her or David. As a matter of fact, my experience with both of them was the least stressful part of the journey. If you’re shopping for a home and looking for lenders, add David to the top of your list. He’ll take great care of you!

I would highly recommend Dave and Buffy as your go-to team for buying a home. We had a tight deadline to closing and their persistence and "thinking outside the box" strategies are truly what helped us close the deal in time. They were very attentive, and although they have many clients, they make you feel like you are their number 1!

I found David from San Antonio Mortgage on Google based on his amazing reviews and now I completely understand why! From start to finish, he was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and truly had my best interest. He would personally call to walk me through every single step and made sure I always understood what was happening next. As a first time homeowner this is something I valued a lot. He worked hard to make the numbers fit for the home I really wanted, locked in THE best interest rate, and helped me close in just TWO weeks. His processing team was just as fantastic, responsive, efficient, and on top of everything. I couldn’t have asked for a smoother or more supportive experience. Highly recommend!
