Sancarlo stolen my lobster tails meat. Disgusting kitchen. I ordered lobster Tagliolini , it was empty giant shells under the spaghetti, but lobster meat only this a small piece claw with another an even smaller prawn meat on the side, I paid £37.95 for empty lobster shells! The spaghetti not cooked properly, hard inside. It looks like left overnight meals . I ordered a pot of tea, I asked them refill hot water, they changed me for second drink, £9 for 2 pots tea!! Do not go there, waist your money!

Came here for my sister’s birthday and honestly left pretty disappointed. Should’ve picked somewhere else. Right at the start the waiter asked if we wanted water, we said yes, and then it just never came. Had to ask someone else later, which was a weird start at a restaurant that is branded more the more high-end side. The only okay dish was the calamari — everything else went downhill. The mashed potatoes were badly done with chunky bits still in them, and one piece even looked kinda grey. If you can’t get mash right, that says a lot. The crab spaghetti was soggy and overcooked, definitely not al dente, and just average at best. The risotto was worse — one bite bland, the next way too salty, like it wasn’t seasoned properly at all. It was also really mushy. Tasted like it came straight out of a Campbell can. One dish cost £33 and came with just two scallops and one king prawn, which felt ridiculous for the price. You can get way better and fresher seafood elsewhere in Bristol for the same money — and you could definitely taste that this wasn’t fresh. Service was fine, but there was a massive gap between the starter and main. Honestly, the nicest thing about the place was the outside. Wouldn’t go back.

We came here last weekend from Devon to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary 8th November We had a table booked for a specific time, but took the off chance of arriving early, which was a good move as the restaurant got very busy at our original arrive time. My husband ordered pink bubbly 🍾 which made us laugh watching our waiter trying to open it, we all giggled Our food was orderd & we waited. We ordered the Frittura di Pesce Portifino (this was sadly the let down of our meal) very greasy & deep fried Scallops not good. We needed a while for our mains. I had the Beef Cheek (wow wow) I was expecting a small dish, not half a plate (its a large dish) it was absolutely amazing, tenderly cooked & so much flavour. My husband had the chicken supreme in a very rich cream sauce (sorry cant remember the name) With our mains we were never checked back on until we finished our meal (had to take the beef cheek home) We were offered dessert menus but sadly had to ask twice for them as they never arrived, when they did arrive we unfortunately changed our mind as it was too late. A fabulous evening & thank you 😊

Fantastic service and delicious food & drink. Huge menu with several vegetarian options. Went to celebrate my partner's birthday and they made it special and gave him a pudding and sang happy birthday.

It was a special occasion so I booked under a “birthday” booking. However staff didn’t really do anything for that and I was left quite disappointed. The food was decent and has a big portion. The truffle pizza was more crust than actual cheese and toppings tho. It’s a nice meal but nth made me want to visit again
