I brought in a rattan sectional for repair. Scott charged me $200 to remove old screws and replace them with new ones. In the process, he removed old glue with what appears to be a knife because the area shows hack marks where he removed some rattan in the process. Also, he hammered down an area that did not need repair and split the piece 1/4 of the way down. Sloppy and overpriced.
I LOVE my custom-made cabinet! Scott measured and built this cabinet to precisely fit my not-at-all-square opening and it looks fabulous! He installed the under cabinet lights while he was building it so I now have both storage above the breakfast bar as well as lights over the bar. This cabinet gives me much-needed storage as well as making the bar so much more functional. Thank you Scott Gressitt! UPDATE - I also engaged Scott to restore my great-grandmother's solid oak, turn-of-the-century rocker. I'm so thrilled with the result! It's beautiful! He improvised walnut trim so I could forgo the braided trim the upholsterer recommended and I'm so pleased with how it turned out. Thanks again, Scott. You are a master! I never felt uncomfortable trusting you with this irreplaceable heirloom.
Scott successfully reduced the length of the large conference room table for my office. He removed 4 feet from the center of the table and we were pleasantly surprised that you could not even tell that the table had been cut. Very professional workmanship!
I found San Diego Furniture Repair by pulling up along side of one of their vehicles at a stop light. I had a chair with a broken leg so I decided to call. Scott was friendly, efficient, and the price was very reasonable. I got my chair back in less than a week and the repaired leg is now stronger than the rest!! I highly recommend this company.
Scott did a superb job repairing my grandmother's antique tip top table base that my teenagers had broken and tried to repair with superglue. He had excellent pricing and great skill to fix that break, and another break that I hadn't even noticed. I highly recommend Gressitt Studios!
