I have known Dr. Randi Fredricks for over ten years, during four of which I saw her as a psychotherapist and trusted counselor. I reached out to Randi during a difficult time in my life. We worked on immediate results for what was causing some major interruptions in my daily life and well being. I had been to other therapists in the past but never found anyone who I felt could actually help me, so never kept up with it. With Randi I knew it was different, I felt like she cared. She has guided me and helped me see life as I have truly never seen it before. I am able to recognize my inner feelings, understand why I feel the way that I do and resolve much of which had previously hurt and held me down. She has given me the tools I need to see "stuff" for what it REALLY is, embrace it, fix it, if need be, and move on. She has also helped me see my own responsibility of actions I was so quick to blame others for. That is the most eye opening experience of recognition when it is happening. It's much easier to resolve when you discover that it's "not always everyone else's fault." It is the most glorious feeling to be able to feel it, see it and resolve it myself with Randi's insight and help. My dad passed away six months ago. My heart was broken. I felt loss like no other. My first appointment after dad died I sat talking with Randi about the loss and sadness I was feeling, such emptiness. I could feel her care and compassion. I could see it in her eyes. I guess it's best described as comforting. It's not easy to describe the impact Randi has made in my life and how I live it now. It is and has been the most rewarding experience. I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs someone with the wisdom and insight that Randi has to help them make a positive change in their life.
