I’ve taken many of my pack to scentwork and obedience - from puppies to adults they’ve all had fun. Great for CGC testing too.

We have taken our dog Sophie to Santa Clara Dog Training Club for the past two years. While it is a drive for us (over an hour in traffic), it is worth it to have trainers that are knowledgeable, dedicated, and love what they do. What we appreciate is that the training is very affordable and that the instructors are committed to creating a great training environment. With the club's help, Sophie is a Canine Good Citizen, knows how to do tricks, and is continuing in obedience. We highly recommend Santa Clara Dog Training Club.

My 2 year old labrador retriever and I have been taking scent work classes with Laura for over a year. Laura puts a lot of work into setting up searches with a variety of difficulty levels. She is encouraging and patient, and I have learned so much from her. My pup and I have just started to participate in AKC scent work trials, and we've earned a couple of placement ribbons and an element title. There are few places to train in scent work, so I am grateful to have had this training opportunity. Classes are very affordable, and the club officers are responsive and accommodating. I highly recommend this club!

We have been training with SCDTC for a year now and have enjoyed all the classes. The trainers are all very friendly and knowledgeable with a wide range of classes for every skill level and interest. We have learned so much and the price cannot be beat!

I've taken 2 of my dogs to SCDT. They have 2 locations- Winter months at the Santa Clara Fairgrounds and the Summer/warmer months at the SVCTE off Hillsdale. I've taken a few of the Ring Ready classes. I love all of them. Rally being one of my favorites. They also have drop-in classes for Conformation. I received our CGC (canine good citizen) title through them. I highly recommend SCDT.
