We aren't rock climbing pros and as amateurs, found this place to be great! For NM residents, the pricing was reasonable and felt right. If you're from out of state, you'd have to spend a chunk of time here to make it worth it. The staff were really friendly and overall, it was just a great experience.
Ya know, it’s the only gym in the area, so I’m glad it exists. I had to drive a hour to get there, and so it just really wasn’t worth that commitment, but I was happy to get some sends in one way or another. The gym is small and the walls are made of finished plywood, so kiss smearing goodbye. For how small the section is, there was a good variety of bouldering styles and grades. The routes on autobelay were fairly boring, it seems they’re set up for children, which is fine, with the time frame I was there that definitely seems to be the larger population.
I was staying in Santa Fe for a while so I got a one month membership. It was a great place to brush up on my rope climbing but I also enjoyed all of the bouldering problems they set. The staff is very friendly. We mostly came to climb during the day when it was less busy and the crowd skewed a little older, so the vibe was quite mellow—which we appreciated. Nice bathrooms, plenty of parking, and there’s even a small workout area if you feel so inclined to lift weights. We were sad to leave this place!
Great rock climbing gym! Staff was very helpful and there were a lot of various routes for beginners and more experienced climbers.
I am from Tulsa, OK and I am regularly climbing at Climb Tulsa. Since I’m in Santa Fe for a week during Spring Break. I wanted to stop by Santa Fe Climbing on a first day in Santa Fe which I visited yesterday. The staffs greeted me and they are so helpful and friendliest! I enjoyed to challenges with different problem solved at the Boulder. I enjoyed with full experiences from enter the door to boulders which few climbers encouraged me to made top to greeted me again when I exited the door! Highly recommended!
