I hired Sarina Durden's team (Stephanie & Natasha) for bridal and bridesmaid hair and make up on my wedding day and they were wonderful from start to finish. I'm from Miami and had my wedding in St. Augustine, so I planned a weekend trip to St. Aug a few months before my wedding. During this time, I asked Sarina if I could do a trial for make up to make sure I liked their work before hiring them for my big day. She was flexible and agreed to do it on the Saturday I was up there. Stephanie was the make up artist. She is the BEST at what she does. She is very knowledgeable about make up and is super sweet and friendly. We were laughing and having a great time during the trial. She did a beautiful job and gave me all the information about some of the make up I tried on so I could have it for my wedding day. The only thing that I didn't like was the airbrush foundation, but she assured me that I could use cream foundation on the day of if I prefer (which is what I did). I hired Sarina's team for my wedding day based on the trial with Stephanie. Leading up to my wedding day, my maid of honor found out she was pregnant and could no longer go to my wedding. She had already agreed to do hair and make up with the artists so I was freaking out that I would lose out on that money. Sarina assured me that I could transfer the services to another bridesmaid or family member which is exactly what I did. I was also able to add some family members that decided they wanted to do make up or hair before I paid the remaining balance. Sarina was very understanding and flexible which is always appreciated when it comes to wedding planning. On the day of, Stephanie and Natasha did an OUTSTANDING job! They were on time and even finished earlier than expected which gave enough time for everyone's touch ups. All my girls and family members LOVED their hair and make up. My bridal hair and make up was EXACTLY what I envisioned. They really listened and reviewed my inspo photos and made it a reality. To add, my make up and hair held up all night (and it was a HOT and HUMID Florida night). I'm so happy I hired them for my wedding day. It was one of the best decisions I made!
Sarina and her team are absolutely amazing! They made me feel so comfortable from our very first email to even after my wedding. Their communication is amazing and they are very upfront about their costs which I so appreciated. I don’t think I’ve ever felt so beautiful than I did on my wedding day because of them. Beyond the makeup and hair they are so kind and sweet to everyone. They made my girls feel so confident and beautiful! They also made sure I was comfortable and not stressed on my day. Sarina and Adie read my body language so well. When I was feeling overwhelmed they stepped in to calm the chaos of 12 girls in one room getting ready! I just cannot thank them enough. They really are the absolute best in the business!
I am so grateful to Sarina for making me feel like the best version of myself on my wedding day! I don’t usually wear makeup, but I wanted to feel natural, like me, while still enhancing my features. Sarina completely understood my vision and executed it flawlessly. My hair and makeup were exactly what I wanted—elegant, timeless, and so true to my style. She is not only incredibly talented but also such a joy to work with! Sarina is fun, warm, and so heartfelt, making the entire experience stress-free and enjoyable. It felt like I was hanging out with a friend rather than getting my bridal makeup done! I couldn't have asked for a better artist to be part of my wedding day. Highly recommend!!
I cannot say enough good things about Sarina Durden and her team. From the very beginning, she was warm, professional, and incredibly talented. I went for a natural makeup look paired with a low bun and a braid for my hair, and she absolutely exceeded all of my expectations. The trial went so smoothly, and Sarina was able to replicate the exact look on my wedding day—only somehow, she made it even more beautiful. One special touch that I especially loved was the shimmer she added to my chest, which made the photos look stunning. Beyond her artistry, Sarina was such a calming and supportive presence throughout the entire process. Communication was always clear and easy. On the wedding day, she constantly checked in to make sure I was drinking water and eating—something so small but incredibly thoughtful. She genuinely felt like family that day, and I’ll never forget that. I would highly, highly recommend Sarina to anyone looking for a hair and makeup artist who is not only skilled but also kind, attentive, and just a joy to have around on such a big day.
Sarina and Destiny did my hair and makeup for my wedding yesterday, 9/14/2024. They did an amazing job and I felt gorgeous the whole day. I had the perfect wedding and they made me look and feel like a princess. Also, they are both super sweet and easy to talk to. I highly recommend them for your wedding hair and makeup!
