I registered my two kiddos for the Rock 101 Beginner summer camp, and what they learned in just 5 days was amazing. They both said it was a "fun and engaging experience" and that the instructors, Mr. Vela and Mr. Jude, made it easy to understand and learn. This was a bit of a last minute thing and I had so many questions when I was signing them up, but René at the front desk was super helpful, accommodating, and greeted us with a smile every day at drop off and pickup. Both my kids have asked if they could attend more camps in the future and to sign up for the regular classes. Thank you for a fun week, School of Rock San Antonio, we will definitely go back!

School of Rock is an amazing place to learn an instrument in a fast, fun, and motivating environment. The performance-based approach keeps things exciting—you’re not just practicing, you’re playing in a real band with real shows! You can choose whether to join a band or not. But I highly recommend joining a band. The admin staff and instructors are fantastic—super skilled, supportive, and always encouraging you to push yourself and have fun at the same time. Whether you’re a beginner or getting back into music, SOR is an incredible place to grow. Highly recommend!

Michelle and the team at SOR are absolutely and unequivocally amazing. We put both of our kids through School of Rock for years, starting at ages 7 and 9. They have a wonderful program. The teachers are the best and they care so much about the students. I couldn't recommend it any higher. We love this family!

I am absolutely over the moon with the positive impact School of Rock has had on my son’s life. From the moment we walked through the doors, it was clear that this was more than just a music school—it was a place where my son could truly thrive. The entire team, from the front staff to the talented instructors, has been nothing short of amazing. Everyone is so welcoming, supportive, and genuinely invested in his growth, both musically and personally. My son has ADHD, and finding a place that understands his needs and helps him channel his energy in such a productive and creative way has been a game-changer. The music lessons have not only helped him improve his focus and discipline but have also given him a newfound sense of confidence and purpose. He is so proud of the progress he’s made, and it’s been incredible to see him come out of his shell. I cannot thank Michele and Andy enough for their leadership and dedication to making School of Rock a place where every child can feel like they belong. Their passion for what they do is evident in the way they run the business, and it’s clear they truly care about each and every student. The sense of community they’ve built here is beyond anything I could have hoped for. I am absolutely ecstatic that my son gets to be a part of this family. The School of Rock has not just taught him music, but has helped him build skills, friendships, and memories that will last a lifetime. I am so grateful for everything they’ve done for him, and I can’t wait to see where this incredible journey takes him next!

Both my kids and husband take lessons at School of Rock. I can’t praise the owners, staff, and other students enough. Learning music this way is so much faster and more interesting than just learning scales or boring “old fashioned “ songs no one knows. If you are in the fence about signing up - just go for it!
