Stopped here because it was close to a supercharger and it was an unexpected and welcomed surprise! Menu had everything from eggs benedict to six different types of chilaquiles to incredible pancakes and waffles with all sorts of toppings. Service was great and they kept the coffee flowing!
Was a nice time! Sat us right away and were accommodating when we asked for a booth when one freed up. A relaxed diner atmosphere. The servers were patient and kind. The food was Very delicious, I had a create your own omelette, with plenty of options for two meat, three veggies, and a cheese. I made a kind of Spanish Popeye with spinach, onion, bell, bacon, and chorizo with cheddar. Came out great! Hash or country potatoes (I went with country, basically O'Brien's) also good! My friend had Eggs Benedict w/bacon option instead of ham and enjoyed the hollandaise sauce, and oatmeal with a milk option to make it with (never had that option before, very nice) and hash browns. She loved it all. Decent pricing for the quality and serving, added to the service. Will definitely be coming back!
We were in the mood to try a new breakfast spot and decided on Scrambled. Unfortunately, that turned out to be a mistake. We were seated fairly quickly, which was a nice start. However, the service left a lot to be desired. After taking our order, it took about 30 minutes for the food to arrive—not unreasonable given how busy it was, but that wasn’t the issue. The real disappointment was the food. I ordered the Mexican omelet, which was decent, but the side of potatoes was undercooked and unappetizing. My husband got the chicken fried steak, which he said tasted more like a fried hamburger patty than anything else. The gravy was bland and lacked any real flavor. Our daughter ordered from the kids' menu: two chicken strips and fruit. For $9, we expected a kid-sized meal—not two rock-hard nuggets and a tiny bowl of fruit. She barely touched it, and we ended up sharing our food with her. The service didn’t improve as the meal went on. It took forever for anyone to check on us, and by the time they did, we were just ready to pay and leave. For a nearly $60 tab, the experience felt incredibly underwhelming. The only real positive was the atmosphere—bright and welcoming. But a nice vibe doesn’t make up for poor service and mediocre food. This was our first visit to Scrambled, and unfortunately, it’ll be our last. We just don’t understand the hype.
This is the second time that I’ve been here for brunch since it’s walking distance from my hotel and this place doesn’t disappoint! First round I had the huevos rancheros and it was delicious! Ginormous portions, tortilla was amazingly crispy under the egg and the quarter of the avocado slice was very fresh. Second visit I had the 10 0z sirloin steak (medium) and 3 over easy eggs , both came out cook exactly the way I requested; this was accompanied with hash browns and toast. Prices for these items were an excellent value as the portions that were provided could easily feed 2 people! Highly recommended!
My actual rating is a 4.8, however, because the rating system is 1-5 stars I gave a five. The reason for the 4.8 is it took almost 20 minutes to get a refill on my coffee after I asked for it. The service was good, not great, but good. The atmosphere was perfect. I enjoyed the fish on the TV and the classic rock in the background. I did miss the decor from Maggie's which was here before Scrambled. The food was great. I had Biscuits and Gravy, three eggs and potatoes. While the potatoes stole the show the rest was also very good. My friend, who I treated to breakfast, ordered the Chicken Fried Steak with eggs and potatoes. I do not care for Chicken Fried Steak because it usually tastes like cardboard. This CFS tastes great. All in all I recommend Scrambled. It is not Maggie's, but it is a good replacement.
