I saw all of the nice reviews and was so excited to try out a local coffee place. I was even more excited when I saw the gingerbread flavor! Unfortunately I will never know what it tasted like. I had gotten a coupon from the website. For some reason the code wasn’t working but the cashier kindly still honored it which I appreciated. I left a 25% tip and my sister who was with me did as well. She also had a coupon for her order and hers worked. When my sisters code worked the girl at the register then called me a liar about not using the code already. Despite the fact she had seen the email herself and seen when it had been sent to me. It had literally JUST been sent a few minutes before I walked in the door. I told her she was rude for saying that I had already used it. She started laughing as if it were the funniest thing ever. I asked her “did you see me here placing an order about 30 minutes ago?” She said no and continued laughing. I then asked her if someone other than her had been working there within the past 30 minutes to which she replied no again just her. So I asked then how would I have used it if you were the only one that’s been here? Oh and the email clearly states it was sent from Setlan Coffee Co. TODAY! Did she apologize? Nope instead she continued laughing and went to take someone else’s order. Finally I told her to just refund my order and my sister wanted her order refunded as well. When I asked for the refund then I finally got an apology but by that point it was too late. It’s really disheartening for so many reasons. I was really excited but I guess our business wasn’t wanted.

I stopped by this nice spot across from the park, and I have to say the coffee is absolutely delicious. I tried something called a batch crew or brew, and it was smooth and full of flavor. The baristas, Paris and Isabella, were so friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. While I was there, I also came across a magazine that highlights all the events happening in Jacksonville. I’ve always wondered where to find that kind of info, and this magazine solved the problem—it lists all the dates and events clearly, which I really appreciate. If you haven’t tried this place yet, you definitely should—it’s a great spot with amazing coffee and a warm atmosphere.

Gotta try the Cinnamon Roll. Yummy. The Latte is delicious and not too sweet. Just right. The barista is polite and friendly. Almost no wait. Located inside the museum of contemporary art, the space is large but relaxing. The aromas follow you throughout the building. The overall atmosphere and experience is worth exploring for yourself. Enjoy 😊
