We had an outstanding experience working with Sheila Smith when buying our home. From start to finish, Sheila was a trusted advisor who truly advocated for our best interests. Sheila and her team were fantastic to work with. Sheila and I spent two full days driving around Boise and looking at various properties. She was very knowledgeable, insightful and transparent - pointing out potential issues with homes (e.g. failing retaining wall, potential issues with future resale, homes being overpriced, etc.) and rejecting some homes outright (e.g. due to suspected foundation settlement). As a first-time home buyer with zero experience - Sheila's knowledge was extremely helpful and I learned a lot. Sheila and her team took care of booking all the relevant showings on a short notice (because I was an out-of-town buyer with limited time in Boise). Throughout the whole process I never felt pressured to make any quick decisions or rush into anything. During the offer/negotiation process Sheila and her team were very responsive, took care of all the paperwork and provided timely updates for every step of the process. They were able to run the show and take care of everything (even the final walk-through) while I was away on a business trip - this was very much appreciated. Sheila's recommended inspector (Matt from Les Bois Home Inspections) performed a very thorough inspection - which we were able to use to negotiate additional repairs from the seller. I feel lucky to have chosen Sheila as my agent. And I would love to work with her again in the future. She is an amazing person and I recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking to buy or sell a home.
