My job was a relatively small addition in comparison to the large scale projects SHM does. However, they gave all the attention and care to our project and addressed our unique need of incorporating a multigenerational addition to our home. Phil, our lead architect was so creative and always able to find solutions to my concerns. My favorite part about working with their team is how during zoom meetings they could adjust floor plans and think of creative ways to to meet my expectations. Thank you all for the pleasant and smooth experience!

Excellent service, and the wings are nice size and not drenched in too much sauce. Pretzel knots have to be tried. Great price, for beer!! Love Watchung sporting events there

My husband and I built our "last" home and used Enrique Montenegro, a partner at SHM, to help us design and create what we needed and wanted for our "perfect" home. Enrique listened to us and incorporated everything into the home we requested. The process was collaborative and enjoyable. Challenges were met with solutions. We could not have been more pleased with the end result. We really value our relationship with Enrique and have stayed in touch.

DON'T GO TO THEM, THEY WOULD NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR TIME AND PASSION. As the other one star review pointed out (for whatever reason contents have been removed by poster), one of his main complaint was that David had his associates do the design and drawings, so there were mistakes which caused the home owner extra money to correct, and SHM wouldn’t accept it is their fault when the review was posted one month ago. I would think to value each client or potential client is one of company’s basic ethics. SHM did not value my time or effort; I can imagine if I went ahead working with them, there will probably be ignorance ALONG THE WAY. I am passionate and excited about my new home, but got a huge discouragement from them. Below is a summary of my past three week experience with David/ SHM. I met with David 3 weeks ago at his office. At the end of meeting, he promised to email me a questionnaire to start the process. I waited for one week; no email came through from him or his staff. Pretty disappointed, I called the office check the status of the questionnaire so I can get the project start. Surprisingly, I was told by the assistant they emailed me already. I don’t have issues receiving email from other senders, but I chose to believe what they said. It was later that day that I received an email from the assistant saying she would send me the questionnaire immediately, but I didn't receive again. I checked with them Monday finally she sent it to me saying she thought she sent it last Friday. I spent TWO HOURS Monday night finishing the questionnaire so to send back the next day, but I don't hear anything from them again. I called Friday to check and front desk said she will ask David... long waiting no response.... I called again Monday and David finally called me back around 7pm. I think by that time he had not taken time carefully review what I have put in the questionnaire, thus he could NOT answer any of my points. Typically I don’t leave bad reviews, but this time I feel it necessary to share with others. It may be helpful before making decision.
