Thank you for all you contributed to ratings . Just like to inform some students think here is free classes is not. To be in this facility district pays $10,000.00 for each student attending any of classes, and is not cheep college. They teaching industrial to you can give internship or give you college credits to help the students to start their college smoothly.
SVCTE is a decent school. A cheap community college. There are free bus rides, college internships, competitions, field trips, and some programs that are available. Some classes feel aimless, and the quality depends a lot on the teacher you get. My experience had its highs and lows — sometimes it was exciting, other times it felt like a waste of time. If you pick the right program and actually care, you’ll probably get a lot out of it. But if you’re expecting something super polished or consistent, it might not be what you’re looking for. Still, I’d recommend it overall — especially if you’re trying to get a head start on career paths. PD: I definitely enjoyed the field trips and classmates!
I was unfortunate enough to be a student, in two programs no less. When I was in high school, they were offering "free career training" for students attending California high schools. My high school fell for that scam, I attended this "school" where the administrators didn't know the subjects their teachers were teaching (and that's according to both teachers that I had). Only to finish with the highest score on the final and be denied the certificate I was being promised the whole year, with no excuse given at the time other than the teacher claiming he couldn't figure out how to use the printer to give it to me. That was in 2012, I've contacted the school and teacher many times over the years, and they both have the exact same story: "We neither have the ability nor authority to grant you that certificate. It's the teacher (according to the school) it's the school (according to the teacher) who has that authority, please contact them with this request." I only stopped contacting them after learning (2nd hand from a former student) that their "certificates" are nothing more than pieces of paper lacking proper accreditation. In the end, I only missed out on after-school activities because of this scam, but I can't imagine how horrible it would be for an adult to be scammed out of their tuition fees for literally nothing. I recently took a test at the Silicon Valley Regional Testing Center Room #10, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Below are the key issues I encountered: No Waiting Room: The facility lacked a designated waiting area, requiring all test-takers, myself included, to wait outside in the cold while standing in line to check in. The check-in process was not expedited, and, as often happens, it could take longer for some individuals, resulting in an uncomfortable experience, especially given the January weather. Room Temperature: The testing room was uncomfortably cold, which made it difficult to stay focused and perform well during the exam. Insecure Storage for Personal Belongings: Instead of providing secure lockers, the staff used small plastic bins to store personal belongings. These bins were easily accessible to everyone, which compromised both security and professionalism. In conclusion, the experience was unsatisfactory. I trust that management will take the necessary steps to address these concerns and enhance the testing environment for future candidates.
Visited today for the yearly car show. What a wonderful event! A wide variety of awesome cars, of course. Students were showcasing their work, such as repair and maintenance of electric vehicles, which was great to see. We had dinner at the Spaghetti Feed (students made it and managed with little adult supervision), and it was delicious. A++ overall!! We will be back!
