Silver Fern is a lovely coffee shop with a warm, welcoming vibe. The staff is always incredibly friendly, and the space has a great ambiance, even if it can be tough to snag a seat since it’s usually busy. They do a fantastic job with creative seasonal drinks, the State Fair coffee flight was such a fun experience and absolutely delicious. Their standard lattes are solid, but the specialty drinks are where they really shine. I also love that they offer wine, and their bakery case is always tempting, the biscuit is excellent. A cozy neighborhood spot that manages to feel both lively and relaxed.

The service and the atmosphere were fantastic. We got the Bananas foster and Sweet corn lattes and they were really sub par. The bananas foster latte had almost no banana flavor present and was mostly just milk, mid coffee, and cinnamon. The sweet corn latte had the opportunity to taste like sweet corn, but unfortunately just tasted like Karo corn syrup and was WAY too sweet. We also had some breakfast sandwiches, which almost convinced me to move the food to a 4, but the coffee was so blah, I couldn’t.

Beautiful coffee and wine bar that gives a variety of options of bakery and food as well. The ambience and esthetics is impeccable. The staff is hospitable and patient when ordering. Even if I’ve been there many times they’re kind and don’t try to rush you. I can’t say enough nice things about this place. It’s always busy, but people are open to sharing a table if there’s room available. Definitely check them out. One down side is they have shorter hours Friday-Sunday.
