Man the boat ride was nothing less than amazing! The captain and crew were wonderful and we will DEFINITELY be going again. That 4 hrs went by fast, lol. Needless to say, we had a blast!
Our son's company, Kingdom Development, rented a 75 ft lake boat for a get together deal. Lotsa fun, they anchored in this bay for a couple of hours for swimming and frolicking. Everyone had fun, maybe a sunburn or two. The water was too murky for me, but most of the 50 or so guests hopped in. Thanks, Will, for the good time!
Our 3rd year using them and definitely didn’t disappoint. Captain Connor always made sure everything went smooth and we had plenty of time on the water. Everyone had a blast. 10/10 would recommend for some fun in the sun
I was visiting the Grapevine area on Sunday 7-30-2023 around 2 pm looking for a marina to utilize, and store my boat. Silver Lake Marina was highly recommended, so I went to investigate whether it would meet my needs. While at your location I drove down to the boat launch to get a feel for the facility, and was unexpectedly verbally assaulted, and threatened with physical violence by what appeared to be an unhinged male employee of Silver Lake, or at the very least a customer of the marina. At one point this individual exited their vehicle in a menacing manner in an effort to further intimidate me with physical violence. When the individual finished with their tirade, they drove off and threw a beverage at my SUV... I followed them for a short distance, and found that this person was entering the boat storage area on your property around 2:25 pm to park their boat. At that point I managed to take a photo of the SUV they were driving, and the boat they were trailering; those photos are attached to this email. You can clearly see the license plate, and boat registration numbers in the picture. This individual, whether an employee of the marina, or a customer is dangerous, and should be dealt with accordingly. If you choose to ignore this information, and they cause physical harm to someone on your property now that you're aware of their behavior, you will open the marina up to legal liability and litigation. I'll also be posting this information online to increase awareness of what transpired at this property in order to inform others to use caution at your location. Silver Lake Marina isn't safe!
Great outing! If you want to take a ride out on the waters or lake, I do recommend this place that's one of my choices. Good customer service, friendly staff. Boat rentals are all in good shape and if you need help they are more than happy to help you. I do recommend getting there 30 to 45 minutes early to sign your waivers and go over safety precautions and then after that go out to the beautiful nature and have a great time! There is a bathroom on site and also a mini store if you didn't bring food or drinks. They say on the pontoon rentals that up to nine people can be on it but I say comfortably around 7
