Simon did a wonderful job on our small coffee table, removing a stain in the wood and repairing grouting round the tiles very sensitively. We are delighted, and will use his services again.
The first jobs Simon did were actually for my mother-in-law. He repaired her dining table and did some restoration work on the case of her grandfather clock. In both cases the work was top quality and completed quickly, also he was happy to collect the items and return them when completed. Following this, we asked him to repair a couple of our dining chairs and most importantly (for me!) bring back to life my 12-string guitar which I haven't played for over 30 years. Again the work was most satisfactory, so we would have no hesitation in recommending him for furniture repair and restoration jobs
We came across Simon by luck. Simon restored 4 items for us, an oak bed, matching bedside units and a coffee table. All of which we love to bits, but which were tired and worn, to different amounts in different places. Simon knew exactly what to do and has made each item look brand new restoring the natural colours beautifully. I would not hesitate to recommend Simons highly skilled services.
Simon priced out some broken furniture for us (that had been damaged in a move) and then built from scratch a new stereo shelf. The piece is beautiful, and the cost was reasonable, considering the work. Would highly recommend.
Got Simon to repair a desk I bought from eBay that was broken when it arrived, he did a wonderful job and he's such a lovely and courteous gentleman as well!
