please go to the reviews and search the low rating im sure the 1500+ reviews are to hide the real reviews. Nothing wrong with the doctor. But that's the problem I didn't even get to see the doctor the front office lady was so bad I canceled the appointment and went to skin associates of south Florida. Had a great experience at skin associates. Highly recommend them, this place don't waste your time

Unfortunately, my experience at Skin Center of South Miami did not match the overwhelmingly positive reviews. From start to finish, the appointment felt awkward and impersonal, and I left knowing I would not return. No one made me feel particularly welcomed or comfortable - it felt like a very standard doctor’s office visit, without any warmth or effort to go above and beyond. The front desk interaction was fine but unremarkable. The assistant who escorted me to the room and assisted Ms. Borges was extremely serious and lacked basic bedside manner. The interaction felt stiff and uncomfortable, and the blank stares throughout the appointment made the experience feel oddly awkward. I went in for a full-body mole check and discussed cosmetic treatments as well, and the entire visit felt oddly taboo rather than professional and reassuring. I had also called ahead to explain that the scheduling system only allowed me to select one procedure, but this did not seem to be handled thoughtfully during my visit. To be fair, Ms. Borges did take the time to handwrite her product recommendations, which was helpful and appreciated. However, the overall appointment felt stiff as a board and lacking warmth or patient-centered care. I understand that professionalism doesn’t always mean overly friendly but warmth, reassurance, and patient comfort matter, especially in dermatology and cosmetic care. This visit felt mediocre at best, and I left feeling uncomfortable rather than cared for. For that reason, I would not recommend this practice.

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Varee Poochareon! The wait time was short, and Dr. Poochareon was thorough, taking the time to carefully examine me and clearly explain my treatment options. Both she and her assistant, Amy, were friendly, professional, and made me feel comfortable throughout the visit. Highly recommend!

Good experience with this doctor office. Parking is free and has multiple parking spaces around the building. Busy, but still have some space when I was there. The staff is friendly and the doctor is though with the exam. My issue was well listened, and medicine was prescribed. I would come back again.
