Dr Floyd and Sunset Pediatrics are great! He was my pediatrician as a teenager and is now our kids’ pediatrician. Dr. Floyd and his team have terrific bedside manner, are very good at diagnosis, and truly care about their patients. Our kids actually look forward to going to the doctor!

Dr. Floyd and his staff are amazing!!! We are blessed to have him as our kids’ pediatrician. Smart, caring, attentive and funny, I trust him blindly. He takes his time with each patient, interacts with them, discusses all options with the parents and is always smiling. I would give him 100 stars if I could. They are THE BEST!

I was referred to Dr Floyd after being very disappointed with the level of care my 2 year old daughter was receiving at a Miami Beach pediatrician. I was hesitant about the hour drive to see a doctor but I am SO HAPPY my daughter is his patient and could not be more relieved to have such a competent, compassionate, and gentle doctor for my little girl. He is highly intelligent but speaks to parents with respect and delivers his information in a very calm and optimistic way. His staff is upbeat, funny, professional, and informative. Offices are clean and have a cool “Pottery Barn” vibe, and wait times are minimal. I can not recommend Dr Floyd and his team to enough; he has been a breath of fresh air. Miami Beach parents- make the switch!! You won’t regret it.

Dr. Floyd is the kindest, smartest, most thorough doctor I have ever had the pleasure of meeting; and, his staff are equally as kind and loving! Their bedside manner is unparalleled, and they are so gentle and calming with their patients. When you go to Sunset Pediatrics, you feel like you are part of their family. The practice is also incredibly clean, wait times are short, and they do an excellent job of separating sick from well patients. I cannot recommend them enough. My only regret is that Dr. Floyd does not treat adults, too!

As a mental health professional in the community, I have known and worked with Dr. Floyd for many years. We have collaborated on many cases together and I have found him to be an extremely caring, dedicated and compassionate physician that always goes the extra mile for his patients. He is extremely hands on and always is attentive to the physical, mental and emotional needs of his young patients and their families. So many of my younger clients have grown up with him as their pediatrician and they all love him! The families I often work with rave about the care and service he provides! It has been a pleasure and and an honor to be one of the professionals that Dr. Floyd calls on when one of his patients needs my expertise. If you are looking for a physician that will take excellent care of your child, teen or young adult, you cannot go wrong with Dr. Philip Floyd!
