After purchasing a used Audi cabriolet, the oil light illuminated the very next day. I contacted the dealership, who promptly directed me to Smith Imported Car Service for a full-synthetic oil and filter change. The team at Smith was efficient and thorough; they not only performed the necessary service but also conducted a general check-up on the vehicle. I was very pleased to hear that they confirmed everything appeared to be running smoothly. The best most trusted car shop in Kentucky, the owner mark smith is the most kind and helpful owner I’ve ever met. The rest of the staff are very kind and inviting. The work they do is 100% trustworthy they will never gouge you or give you something you don’t need to drive prices up. Trustworthy and honorable are the only 2 words I could use to describe this car shop.

Genuinely caring and honest auto shop. I previously went to the Volvo dealership in Louisville where they told me I needed over $2k worth of "work". Fortunately, I discovered Smith Imports. They took the time to check everything thoroughly and reported back that my Volvo had no issues. It's a good reminder that dealerships stay in business by overcharging for "repairs". Even though Smith Imports took the time to look over my vehicle, they didn't charge me. And this was not a walk-in. I had to schedule several days in advance. Great to see an honest shop staying busy and still making time to help without an upsell. Highly recommended.

I called them last night and they were able to squeeze my car in for repairs this morning! They took care of it quickly and for a very reasonable price! They are fair, honest, and great mechanics! I am very thankful for them and the amazing work that they do! If you are looking for a mechanic, I would call them and let them take care of your car!!
