I chose this business after seeing many positive reviews and decided to give it a try. I walked in with about five pairs of pants for alterations and was immediately asked if I had an appointment. I explained that I did not, but that Google indicated walk-ins were welcome. He told me it was normally appointment-only, but proceeded to ask what I needed done and had me try the pants on. During the fitting, he abruptly told me “no shoes” and asked if I had read the website, stating that this rule was posted there. While I did look up the business beforehand, there is no proper website—only a third-party listing that provides minimal information and no clear policies. The interaction felt uncomfortable and unwelcoming from the start. Throughout the visit, I felt as though my business was not valued and that I was being treated as if I would not be willing to pay for the service. I strongly considered walking out. When I asked about pickup availability, he said mid-week. I explained that I could only come on the weekend. He then handed me a ticket and asked me to pay upfront. I have never been asked to pay in advance at an alteration shop, and it made me feel as though I was not trusted. A week later, having received no phone call or notification, I called to ask if my pants were ready. I was asked if I had my slip and was told I would not be able to pick up my items without it. Once again, he referenced this being stated on the website, which—again—does not clearly communicate these policies. The only information available online is the services offered and business hours. Even over the phone, the interaction was unpleasant. I asked for his name and was told it was Ali, who I believe is the owner based on other reviews. If you are running a business, all customers should be treated with the same level of respect. I don’t know if I was being judged based on my appearance or age, but this experience left a very negative impression. Overall, the entire experience was frustrating and uncomfortable. I would not recommend this business and will not be returning. I believe I could have received the same—or better—work elsewhere while being treated with basic courtesy and respect.

From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly attentive and understanding of my predicament. They immediately prioritized my repair. The technician was highly professional, assessing the damage quickly and completing the fix right away. The speed of service was remarkable, but the quality of the work was even better. I had a great experience here, especially with Ali who was kind and knowledgeable. The drop off appointment was easy, and I received good recommendations on how to best alter the garment. I was especially appreciative of the 4 day turnaround in time for my travel. I would no doubt come back again! Thank you again.

Ali was incredibly helpful. I had a last minute request to fix leather pants that had ripped along the seams. He quickly fixed it in less than 15 minutes despite the fact that I was a walk-in. I’m grateful for the prompt tailoring, as it was time sensitive. I also greatly appreciate the professionalism Ali displayed. I will absolutely be back for future tailoring needs. As someone who takes reviews seriously, I hope my review points someone in the right direction that is SNS Alterations!

We couldn't recommend SNS Alterations enough. They were integral to our wedding. Not only did they do alterations for my wedding dress but they created my husbands tuxedo. They were so honest and transparent about what would work and not work with my dress and beautifully made adjustments to allow me to feel comfortable the whole day. For my husband, they worked together for months to create the perfect tuxedo. We had gone to many different suit shops but left either feeling unsure or hesitant, but the decision to go with a custom SNS tuxedo was instant. They were so knowledgeable about all the little pieces of, from the fabrics to the buttons, to the fit. We both felt amazing on our wedding day, and that is in large part because of SNS. We now recommend them to anyone who listens!
