Add me to the list of patients who is frustrated. This location and the Montclair location doesn’t answer their phone or call people back after a voicemail is left. They don’t check their email when you request an appointment. Looks like another reviewer experienced the same thing. I used to come here for my shoulder and they were great. It’s frustrating to have this polarizing experience.

Really enjoying their personal training offering - Lucas is great! I've been working with Lucas for just over six months, and it's been a game-changer. My goals were to safely lift weights despite lower back issues, build strength for various athletic activities, and maintain mobility. He helps me with my form, which keeps my back issues in check and has improved my technique. He introduces odd but engaging exercises each session, so training is never boring. His deep knowledge, encouraging style, and genuine commitment make every session effective and enjoyable.

The SOL PT team is an amazing group of people each team member has their own style but work together as a cohesive unit. Each member is supportive and atentive to rehabilitating the body through a balance of strengthening the body to stabilize injuries, and recovery through message and cupping techniques!

Cons: It is very difficult to get a hold of anybody to make an appointment. Several voicemail have to be left to get a call back a week later if you’re lucky. Admin staff is not always the friendliest depending on who is there. Usually you get about 10-15 min with the physical therapist before they hand you over to an assistant which is all billed the same (very expensive) pros: Physical therapist are very knowledgeable, very interactive and have a lot of hand outs with clear instructions. its also nice that they have their own parking.

I did PT at Sol in Berkeley this year for about seven months. I had a great experience with them. Every employee is friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. I worked with three physical therapists and all were great. (And Monica is a frickin' miracle worker!) I didn't go through insurance and paid privately instead, so billing was easy and their price for private pay is reasonable. There are a few free parking spaces next door. I highly recommend Sol.
