I’ve been shopping here for years. It’s my go to for great upcycled clothing. A few years ago I moved back to San Francisco but I still find excuses to drive over to Oakland to shop at Sola Lucy. Highly recommend.

So disheartening. Brought in a few pair of brand new designer heels. The 2 young ladies took a quick look at the items. They spoke between each other but loud enough for me to hear one ask, “are they even real?” One of the girls quickly addressed me in an attempt to take my attention away from the bias question to inform me that they’re not accepting spring shoes until it’s closer to spring. IT’S MARCH now by the way. I totally understand stores can’t accept every item that people bring in but if you’re not interested in accepting the items then just say that… the question was bias and rude.

Sola Lucy has been around for a long time and there's a perfect reason why! The selection of unique pieces (jewelry, accessories and clothing) is huge for such a lovely boutique! Not to mention, the ease of consignment and assistance from the staff.

This store has a really interesting variety of items for people of all sizes, ages and styles, though I would say it generally runs more mature because of the area. Consigning there is painless and quick, as long as you follow their requests for season/quality/brands found on their website. Most things are relatively affordable, considering there are some really high-end labels, so do not come looking for 'thrift store' prices, Although some deeper discounts can be found on the outside rack or in their sale section. They pay out pretty well for those who consign, help to extend our clothes' lifespan, and are an independent women-run business. So shop here and NOT at The Gap!

This little shop has a great selection of clothes and shoes in all sizes. I always find something I like there. The staff is friendly and professional. Between clothes, shoes, jewelry, purses and accessories, they really pack a great selection into a small space.
