State-of-the-art studio that maintains a meditative atmosphere. Very clean and peaceful. There are amenities in the back for people taking a class. The instructor was excellent, plans fun classes, and gives clear instructions. I highly recommend this for anyone who wants a low-impact full-body workout that can improve balance, mobility, and strength.

I took 6 different classes from 6 different instructors over a two-week period. My biggest issue with this studio is there is no actual instruction at all. There is cuing for what moves to do, but none of the instructors offered any corrections to any student in the classes. I have done reformer pilates for 20 years, and I started my pilates journey with one-on-one instruction. In the past 5 years, I have done group classes at a few different studios--one in Minnesota, one in Scottsdale and another studio in the Tucson area. Those other studios offer much smaller class size and the instructors are great at individual corrections during class and offering different options when someone has an injury or a particular concern such as osteopenia. When the instructor doesn't offer any corrections to form, there is no difference between showing up and having a video class instead of a live instructor. In one class, I kept seeing the woman across from me with her shoulders scrunched up to her ears and curved inward as we did a twist movement. The form was glaringly wrong and could lead to injury. Yet the instructor didn't help her correct her form. I will also say the classes are very short at 45 minutes. All classes I have attended at other studios are 55 minutes, and it is amazing to me how much of a difference that 10 minutes makes. I'm also not a fan of pilates classes that use small hand weights. It detracts from the goals of the particular pilates movement. For example: footwork. Footwork series are foundational and are a great opportunity to set your core, stabilize your pelvis, focus on your breathing, etc. When you start adding arm exercises at the same time, you are more likely to start flaring your ribs, moving your pelvis out of neutral. Plus the arm weights are not really doing much for you. I do weight lifting twice a week, and doing arm exercises with small dumbbells does not make it strength training. So the benefit seems fairly minimal. Solana also doesn't do any screening before someone signs up for class. At other studios, I have had to schedule a one-on-one session where they make sure I have enough basic knowledge to be able to attend class. That way, you avoid having someone in class who is unfamiliar with the equipment and the basic instruction. No one asked about my experience when signing up or when arriving at class. On the plus side, the studio is clean and the staff seems friendly. I just think the approach is not great for learning and avoiding injuries as one progresses in their practice.

Loved this studio ! Super cute ! Very chill community . They sell Thorne supplements too, I'm a super fan of Thorne. Instructor was very friendly . This studio is NOT available on class pass, boo. Overall not a very challenging class but I needed more of a recovery class this morning so it was perfect. I also like louder music (personal preference), I’ll have to check out a few different classes here to get the full experience. Make sure to bring your grippy socks ! Really wanted to shop retail but it was pretty wiped out . I like to get something from each studio I visit. Drinks after class were a nice touch at the “hydration station” as well .
