Kristen is the best! She helped walk me through every step of preparing my tax returns when I was extremely stressed out about it. She was kind and patient and let me stay in her office way past the end of the appointment time making sure we had figured out how to file a particularly tricky K-1 form. Booking with her was easy and communication was excellent. Highly recommend!

I would not recommend Kristen. Others have said she's the worst and we did experience her moment! Save your time from doing business with her. She is rude, very unprofessional, and does not work in your favor or give any advice for future tax deductions. Also, after she does your taxes she will not answer emails. She's a waste of time for you! Read other bad reviews and listen to them! It's a problem when others have the same experience. Save yourself the bad experience!

I've come here two years in a row and absolutely love Kristen. I read some of the other reviews and was honestly shocked what people said given I've had the exact opposite experience - twice now! She's kind, professional and very knowledgeable about all things taxes. She took time to explain to me why I owed what I owed. She also provided recommendations about what I can do differently to hopefully not owe next year. I highly support this wonderful woman owned business and encourage folks to come here. You will not be disappointed. Thank you, Kristen!

I tried calling their office multiple times, leaving messages, to make an appt. to get my taxes done and she never responded and the website was not available for a long time. When I was finally able to access the website to make an appt. there weren't any available. I went to the office to try and get a walk in appt, since they have state on the website that those are welcome. The office was closed and I called to see if they were going to open soon and she gave me such attitude about just showing up 2 days before taxes were due. I have gone to South Austin Tax Service for years, but I will no longer be going and would not recommend them to anyone. She was very unprofessional and rude!

Well, most reviews you read often start with I never wrote a review before but because of the service I received bad or good I just had to tell people. I recently read the reviews on South Austin Tax Service its a shame that we use the reverse of that old saying reward in public correct in private. We start to correct in public and reward in private. Anyone can say thank you, but to send a card, write a positive letter of any sort is unheard of today. However the minute a less than great experience happens we let the world know about it. In reading the less pleasant reviews about South Austin Tax Service. We forget to give a little respect toward the hard work and dedication South Austin Tax Service provides for our community. Individuals who say they been going to this company for years and then write about the unpleasant experience they had on maybe the 3rd years. I did not notice any positive feedback the prior years that they supposedly had service rendered with South Austin Tax Service. This company is dedicated to provide great service to any customer who needs returns completed at a fair price. I have never experienced anything less than kindness and generosity from Kristen. I am positive if any concerns ever came up because of an error or service I received Kristen would resolve it as quickly as possible. My fathers returns and my returns along with my family's returns have always been completed here for years. I as well should have wrote a review years ago. I thank you for the great service you provide for your community. If you had your returns done here more than once than you liked it. Don't let the big companies run out the small company who are here for us.
