I’ve been coming to South Street Barbers for the past 5 or so years. I never had a bad experience. The shop has a nice atmosphere, polite staff, and professionalism. It’s also very clean inside. The owner, Will, does a great job with acknowledging every customer coming in and making sure they are getting taken care of. The shop is also in a good location. Great for getting something to eat afterwards or running errands since there are plenty of stores around.

Bryon is a great barber with excellent technical precision and strong attention to detail. Above all, he listens and cuts with confidence. I’ve been coming to him for about two years and have been thoroughly satisfied at every visit. I highly recommend his talent. Overall, South Street Barbers has a great, diverse atmosphere that’s refreshing and truly noteworthy.

One of the best Barber Shop atmospheres in Philly. Not only do Voshon and Will do a great job cutting hair but you also get to receive the great vibes of barbershop talk. The clientele is diverse which lets you know that all of the barbers in the shop can fulfill your hair needs no matter what style you are looking for!

Philly gets my stamp of approval for one of the best cuts in the country. Shon was my barber and did an incredible job. He paid attention to the small details and delivered top-quality service. Great conversation with him and the owner too. I’ll definitely be coming back. Whether you’re local or just visiting, this is the place to go for your next cut.

Being new to the city, I’m glad I found South Street barbers. It’s a great atmosphere, always clean and good customer service. The clientele is pretty diverse, and for the most part (I can only speak on my experience) it’s always felt safe for diverse gender, ethnic, racial, & LGBT backgrounds. Plus, it’s BLACK owned and easily accessible. Booking an appointment is super easy via phone. If booking your first appointment, I highly suggest Omar
